Worth listening if you have lots of free time

The first 2 books were the best - honestly I've listened to the rest in hope it's gonna be as good...
For the last 3 books - really DISAPPOINTED. Generally I felt there was no action; and where it happened - it was dragged on so-so-sooo long. Would've been better to finish this story after 3 books.

Worth the wait

The description of Earth-Sea is so breath taking, I could vividly see every island, rock and wave. As all previous books this starts off with a slow pace - fully immersing the listener. Cried a few times- both in sadness and in joy. Marvelous.

Story great as ever
Reviewed: 02-10-20
The story is amazing , well structured and the little romance is so exciting! I was just struggling with the narration-- quite evenly toned. I could not figure out who was the character speaking-- all of them sounded the same. In fact I've fallen asleep a few times-- so monotonous was the narration.

Ms Landor's performance is incredible! The story line is awesome as always. Going on to the last book right away - it's sad there's only 1 left.

At first I was taken aback by the change of narrator and his different pronunciation of names, different pacing of the text. After all the books by Victor Bevine- I was disappointed. But continuing the story I had completely got used to the new style of Mark Bramhall- afterall the book is so amazing- the story takes the lead and not the narrator. A few chapters into the book and it felt as if nothing had changed. Listen on, don't be discouraged by the initial surprise- as great a book as all so far.
