Story
Feel like you don’t belong? You’re not alone. The world has never been more connected, yet people are lonelier than ever. Whether we feel unworthy, alienated, or anxious about our place in the world, the absence of belonging is the great silent wound of our times. Most people think of belonging as a mythical place, and they spend a lifetime searching for it in vain. But what if belonging isn’t a place at all? What if it’s a skill that has been lost or forgotten? With her signature depth and eloquence, Toko-pa maps a path to belonging from the inside out.

Story
Hello to you, I am with news. I have a new book: I Haven’t Been Entirely Honest With You. I know – what an intriguing title! Basically, I have had an unexpectedly difficult decade – there have been surprising joys but also deep revelations and challenging lows. I shall be honest about those, because what I discovered in the difficult times were my, what I call, treasures.

We live in truly overwhelming times. The climate crisis, the pandemic, AI advances, conspiracy theories, political polarization, and the rest has left many of us in a state of "spiritual PTSD", feeling disconnected from one another, our values, and our joy. In this radical spiritual guidebook, New York Times best-selling author Sarah Wilson puts on her backpack and spends three years hiking around the world—in Jordan, Cornwall, the Lake District, the Australian Outback, Japan, the Sierra Nevada, and beyond—to find a path through it all.

Story
Bryony Gordon has OCD. It's the snake in her brain that has told her ever since she was a teenager that her world is about to come crashing down: that her family might die if she doesn't repeat a phrase five times, or that she might have murdered someone and forgotten about it. It's caused alopecia, bulimia, and drug dependency. And Bryony is sick of it. Keeping silent about her illness has given it a cachet it simply does not deserve, so here she shares her story with trademark wit and dazzling honesty.

Really enjoyed the book felt so much shame about some of the behaviours in my 20s because of undiagnosed cptsd and childhood trauma. It's like this book lifted it from me and instead of judgement was able to offer compassion to my younger self . Thank you Bryony for your amazing work on bringing MH issues to the light.

The podcast is really helping me to see all the coierve control, gaslighting , humiliation , discarding normalising abusive behaviours and brainwashing is what I grew up in as a child and even as a adult until recently. I feel so less alone and less ashamed of behaviours I was forced into as an child and an adult that I had no power to stop it. Listening to Sarah and Nippy make me feel safe it's all wisdom and education to help keep me safe and inspiration that maybe I can turn my trauma into something positive 1 day.
