Story
How fast do you have to have "IT"? Our culture tells us to find a microwave to speed up the process. C.L. Whiteside, a man who sees and hears multiple perspectives through his life of coaching sports, serving in education, and attempting to conform to Christ, searches for the nonmicrowaved truth. C.L. gets that what’s cool and acceptable now, may not be cool and acceptable tomorrow—and most importantly, may not be what’s best.

tbh this is extremely incoherent
Reviewed: 27-11-21
so I heard the cancel culture episodes advert and assuming that this was some conservative bs I decided to see what was going on. anyway slightly disappointed to find an incoherent ramble for 15 mins with little to no meaningful message. I have a feeling this is the bastard child of a diet of conservate/bootstraps media and Bible studies

Story
Welcome to the life of a junior doctor: 97-hour weeks, life-and-death decisions, a constant tsunami of bodily fluids and the hospital parking meter earns more than you. Scribbled in secret after endless days, sleepless nights and missed weekends, Adam Kay's This Is Going to Hurt provides a no-holds-barred account of his time on the NHS front line. Hilarious, horrifying and heartbreaking, this diary is everything you wanted to know - and more than a few things you didn't - about life on and off the hospital ward.

Story
In ancient Greece or Rome, philosophers were seen as natural authorities on the most pressing questions. However, since then, the idea of finding wisdom from philosophy has come to seem bizarre. Enter a university department today and ask to study wisdom, and you will politely but firmly be shown the door. The Consolations of Philosophy sets out to refute the notion that good philosophy must be irrelevant and gathers together six great philosophers who were convinced of the power of philosophical insight to work a practical effect on our lives.

I enjoy anything by Alain de Botton. He's done all the hard work of reading these philosophers, and translates them into brilliant lessons, observations and anecdotes.

Story
In this special audio edition of How to Be a Man, you’ll hear from the horsie’s mouth how to be a proper god amongst men. You’ll learn how to boss a job interview - remember, the eyes are the windows to the soul, which is why you should avoid eye contact at all costs. You don’t want them looking into your disgustingly dirty soul. I also share some chirpising tekkers, such as my new style, ‘7 down, 1 up,’ where you viciously insult the lady seven times and then give her one compliment.

Story
The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time is a murder mystery novel like no other. The detective, and narrator, is Christopher Boone. Christopher is fifteen and has Asperger's, a form of autism. He knows a very great deal about maths and very little about human beings. He loves lists, patterns, and the truth.
