Story
When I first meet Sophie, she seems like any normal loving mother, trying desperately to help her teenage daughter. That’s where I come in. The perfect tutor to get Katie’s life back on track. I connect instantly with Katie, and Sophie’s thoughtful husband Scott. But Sophie’s dark eyes are full of jealousy when I talk to Scott or share a smile with Katie. I know I’m helping her daughter, whatever she thinks.

Story
‘My name is Darcy, I’m your nurse and I’m here to help you.’ I repeat the words I’ve said so many times. Except this time, I don’t mean it… If you saw me walking down the street, you’d think I was pretty ordinary–I wear the typical crisp, white nursing uniform, my hands are scrubbed clean and you’d have no reason to believe I was anything other than a good citizen. A good nurse. But looks can be deceiving. You shouldn’t trust me–because I don’t even know if I can trust myself.

Story
This year's London Marathon is my last chance to win the final place on the Olympic team. The months of rehabilitation after my injury will feel worth it to cross that line. But I wasn't expecting the man who's been making my life a living hell to be there. Last I knew, my stalker was behind bars, but he says he's going to be at the race watching. I have 26 miles to figure out whether it's him, and what he wants, or I could lose more than just the race.

I found this book very frustrating! although I haven't listened to the end yet, as I got fed up! it was I found the whole story of the daughter letting her mum organise a wedding for her that she had no intention of attending bizarre, don't know why she just didn't tell her mum no! also allvthe 'strange' happenings to the couple very over the top! maybe I will give it another try as it may get better!

Story
After the year Aidan and I have had, we needed some respite. My husband is overworked, whilst I'm anxious about the past, so renting a night at this converted barn house in the countryside seems like the perfect place for the pair of us to relax and unwind. It might be situated at the bottom of a large garden, but it's private enough that we don't have to mingle with the homeowners who live nearby. Or at least that's what I thought...

DH is one of my favourite writers, and I look forward and enjoy all of his work, however, this one not so much! enjoyed the first book in this series, struggled with the second, and am totally lost and uninterested with this one. part of this I'd because I can't remember who is who, who did what, and who is living where and who is after revenge! it's all a bit lame and boring and I can't even be bothered to look back and update myself! I have skipped this book back so many times just to see if I can make sense of it and I still can't...shame because as soon as I saw it released i was looking forward to it! should have stopped at the first one!

Story
My husband and I are fighting for our lives in hospital after a terrible car accident. But despite my pain, all I can think about is what our families will find behind our front door. The scarf that has been all over the news, belonging to a dead young woman with honey-coloured hair. I have to speak to the police before my husband can. I’m drifting in and out of consciousness, but when I hear my wife talking to the police, accusing me of the murder of an innocent woman, a cold fear grips me. I know I’ve got a temper.

Hard to Follow
Reviewed: 14-09-23
I am only on chapter 15 but am finding it really hard to follow and really hard to figure out who is who and what their involvement is with who!! Also it just seems to be about legal cases, which I cant figure out if they are related to the story or not.
Names from the past keep being mentioned, but as yet I dont know who they are, what they have done or why she is hiding from them.
I will start the book again and try again, as some of the reviews are really good,
