Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
What a great read, already recommended to friends and the kids, who listened with me, have raved to their friends. Great sense of history and loved the references to historical characters.
What other book might you compare Dodger to, and why?
The obvious answer is Oliver Twist, the historical setting and characters being common to both.
Have you listened to any of Steven Briggs’s other performances? How does this one compare?
No
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Throughout the book you are made aware of the fragility of life in Victorian times and the acceptance of death.
