Very meaningful story and a great narrator

Like with most new books I needed to listen to the first third quite quickly to get into the story as the start is quite sad but once I got into the story I really enjoyed it.

My favourite book in the series

A great story for fans of the series and I love the narrator Amanda Dolan as Mare. As much as the voice of Cameron was lovely I didn't think it suits 15yr old slum born Cameron.

Story
This is a world divided by blood--red or silver. The Reds are commoners, ruled by a Silver elite in possession of godlike superpowers. And to Mare Barrow, a 17-year-old Red girl from the poverty-stricken Stilts, it seems like nothing will ever change. That is until she finds herself working in the Silver Palace. Here, surrounded by the people she hates the most, Mare discovers that despite her red blood, she possesses a deadly power of her own.

I have read the book and loved Mare the herorine but this narrator really bought her to life with the right amount of sarcasm and passion.
