I didnt see that coming.!!
AN extremely well written and exceptionally well narrated story. I expecially liked the female narrator whose voice , I imagine, lends itself well to Asmr sleep narration . The story itself is an axciting journey that delves into the mind and past experiences and how they can impact on someone's future. I really really didn't foresee the ending and I had to go back and listen at least three times to make sure I had 1) known all the main characters 2) could place them all in the exact place where abouts they belonged in the story and 3) I hadn't misheard. !! would recommend to anyone who likes to get to know a character and of course surprising endings..

I liked the narrator to this story as she read presently and ommited silly voices that some narrators do. The story line, although predictable, was interesting enough to hold my attention but the ending was a bit predictable. Not one of Àdams most riveting novel.x

I had high hopes but I think the expressionless narrator was very bland spoiled it. I also concluded thlat the story was disjointed and hard to follow. Have listened to better!

Awful choice of Narrator.

I love Mark Edwards early work and am searching for that shock factor. This novel had no such excitement and I thought was really quite predictable. As for the Narrator. Completely the wrong type of book for him to read and I imagined him to be an older gentleman rather than the late 30 something the character required. In fact any amorous scenes physically made me cringe. On this point I will mark lower stars. as it may have just tipped the balance on a mediocre storyline.

I love books by Mark Edward's but I don't think this was one of his best.
The first half of the book was very suspenseful but as it progressed I thought it became less exciting and tailed off and the ending ,anti climatic.
Having said that I do love Mark's stories and I did enjoy it.
Keep at it!
