Beautifully written and read

Unlike many audible books there was a decent pause between each chapter or section. The reading was clear and seemed to reflect the characters well
The only issue was Miss Helen’s English accent which was terrible! I’m not sure why the author had to set the book in the US when he is British

I enjoyed this story and glad that the main characters will be reprised. Some of the descriptions were cliched and lazy, but the story was enthralling

For children?

The clipped and carefully enunciated voice of the narrator coupled with the rather predictable storyline with one dimensional characters meant it felt like it had been written for ten year olds. Please market it differently. I usually love all the books you suggest
