Story
One of the most significant books ever written by a head of state, the Meditations are a collection of philosophical thoughts by the Emperor Marcus Aurelius (121 - 180 ce). Covering issues such as duty, forgiveness, brotherhood, strength in adversity and the best way to approach life and death, the Meditations have inspired thinkers, poets and politicians since their first publication more than 500 years ago. Today, the book stands as one of the great guides and companions - a cornerstone of Western thought.

Worst thing You could possibly listen to on Audible
Reviewed: 06-11-17
Apart of Sarah Knight's voice and 3 pages worth of some reasonable advise on how to get all aspects of your life together, the whole book is battered on countless swearing, ridiculous analogies, and Alvin and the chipmunks comparisons, to the point of making it the most unbearable book to listen to out of the hundreds I have on Audible... if you want to get the value of her thoughts watch the Ted talk, but suffering finishing this book is not worthwhile.

Have you ever...Invested time in something that, with hindsight, just wasn't worth it? Overpayed in an Ebay auction? Continued doing something you knew was bad for you? Sold stocks too late, or too early? Taken credit for success, but blamed failure on external circumstances? Backed the wrong horse? These are examples of cognitive biases, simple errors we all make in our day-to-day thinking.

Some good principles to think about when it comes to Wealth.
Some debatable. In overall, another great book from James Altucher.
Not sure about the combination of James and Claudia, which at points felt unrehearsed.
Other than that, great. Keep doing this James!

If you think this is the standard book on passive income, you are in for a roller coaster ride, since this has nothing to do with the practicalities around generating income but finding and reinventing yourself, finding the right mindset and the inspiration to do your better work and set out to achieving your dreams one action at the time (btw this book finally nailed a logical and simple explanation around mindfulness). So far, the best piece I have read from Rob, and grateful for embracing his vulnerability and telling us about the hardships and renaissance of his life. This is not an average motivation not passive income book. This is much a profound piece of art written by a global traveler. A must read for anyone

This book is a must read if you want a simple hack in your life to unlock your full potential. No excuses.
Would have change: repetitive over selling add-ons and related products affect very negatively the overall performance of what could have been a timeless book.

I have just started to try the principles, and although I have to admit being skeptic in the beginning by the time I made it to the end I had bought in. Many thanks Dr Chapman for doing such a master piece for the well being of so many couples and people in the world.
