Story
This was supposed to be the holiday of a lifetime for Cas. Now she just needs to survive. With the drama of The Woman in Cabin 10 and the tension of And Then There Were None, The Last Passenger is a psychological thriller set aboard a cruise ship about a woman whose seemingly ordinary life is suddenly thrown dramatically off course. Will Dean is the master of intense suspense and this novel is full of his trademark twists and turns.

Narration annoying characters even more so. Complete suspension of disbelief required. Ending twist did not work for me.

One of Baldacci’s Best

This is one of the first few novels written by David Baldacci, and in my opinion one of the best together with “Absolute Power” and “The Winner”. A gripping story that moves at a good pace and well developed characters combine to produce a fine thriller, which is also delivered in a manner to help add to the storyline.

Incredible book

Though this book took some serious concentration, it was so worth it. A complex multilayered novel with plenty to say about the state of America. Loved it. She’s a very talented author and I’m going to try her others now

They could not be more different, and fate, war and the jealous schemes of a woman are to drive them even further apart. But as history unfolds, a continent is awakening. And on the horizon is the promise of fortune, adventure, destiny and love.... When the Lion Feeds is the best-selling novel that launched Wilbur Smith's stellar career and the first in the riveting saga of the Courtney brothers.

I first read this book over thirty years ago, and was really excited to see an unabridged audiobook available. I was initially concerned that it might be dated, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I have also never been disappointed by Sean Barrett’s narration. What’s not to like! Roll on “The Sound of Thunder”!!!!
