Story
Trust doesn’t come easily when you’ve been running for as long as I have, which is why moving in with a man I barely know is such a bad idea. Shepard Colson is all golden-boy charm and devastating good looks. But I know what it’s like to be taken in by easy smiles and the promise of forever—I have the scars to prove it.

Story
After a broken engagement, Cher decides to leave heartbreak behind by signing up for a holiday house swap. For the next few weeks, she’ll ditch sunny California to spend her first Hanukkah in New York City, a time of snow-covered sidewalks, festive store windows, hot cocoa, and...cute neighbors? As Cher is moving into her temporary new apartment, Eliot is moving his ex’s belongings out, and he soon finds himself offering to play tour guide. He’s nursing a broken heart too, and spending time showing the beautiful traveler around is exactly what he needs.

Story
Shy, reclusive Frankie and her best friend Lou obsessed over Thomas G. Longley, as they reverently refer to him, for their entire first two years of medical school. So when he publicly humiliated her at the student bar, she was devastated. Story
Unreliable, irresponsible, unpredictable, unaccountable—Yaz knows how her family views her. She was never like them, though. Never academic enough, never serious enough, never really good enough. He was different. Heath was the one who stuck up for Yaz when she was a child. As her brother's best friend and ten years older, he had been her hero—always defending her to her family, always seeing the best in her—he made her feel worthy of approval.

Story
I was upgraded to first class on a flight from London to New York. The food, champagne, and service were impeccable. The blue-eyed man sitting next to me, even better. He was suave and intelligent. We talked and laughed, and something clicked. Fate took over and the plane was grounded, and we had an unexpected stopover for the night. With no plans, we made our own.

TL Swan never disappoints! A fantastic 1st book to her Miles brothers collection which initially read on my kindle (and immediately worked my way through the rest of TL Swan’s published books).
These books have a way drawing you in during the first couple of pages and I always find myself struggling to put them down because I can’t wait to find out how things go.
Jameson (Jim) and Emily first meet on a flight which ends up needing to take a diversion resulting in the passengers having a stopover which is where the fun begins. I’m struggling to write much more about the story as I really don’t want to leave any spoilers and ruin the listening / reading experience for anyone but I will say DOWNLOAD THIS NOW. You will not regret it! 🥳
The narrators were great at bringing this story to life too

It was supposed to be a summer we’d never forget. Instead, everything was stolen from me. The best friend who was more like a sister. The innocent way I looked at life. Leaving me with only unanswered questions. Returning to the island is the second chance I didn’t know I needed. And Hunter is the surprise that knocks me sideways.

Story
My past taught me to play it safe. To stay far away from handsome men who promised it all. My life was good without them. Stable, secure, predictable. But one kiss showed me that I’d been playing it safe for far too long. One night, and all I wanted was more of his wildfire. One challenge and my carefully constructed walls tumbled down. Amid the rubble, I realized there was more to this man than I ever dreamed. When everything fell apart, he showed me what it meant to stay. How to truly live.

Another great book from Catherine that tells the story of Kenna and Crosby. Book 1 in this series gave us an insight to Kenna and Crosby’s relationship and this book lets us know the history of why they were both so guarded. I don’t want to give any spoilers away but I highly recommend you read this. There are a lot of tears and laughter.
