Having overcome some serious injuries and partial paralysis during my military and private security careers, I can relate to this never say die attitude and how important it is to overcome adversity. Outstanding.

The best account of frontline soldiering you will read/hear. Listening to the individual views, experiences and struggles from all levels of command that 3 Para endured attacking Mount Longdon is sometimes difficult to comprehend. It took unparalleled courage, skill, tenacity, reckless bravery and downright bloody minded determination of every man to win what the text books will tell you, should have been an unwinable battle against a well dug in enemy of superior numbers who controlled the high ground. I'm honoured to know a couple of the lads mentioned in the book. They may be older and suffering from arthritis these days, but are to be respected for the men and soldiers they were back then and are today.

The real Rocky. Jimmy Braddock is worthy of his high perch amongst the greats of heavyweight boxing champs. There's much more to being a great fighter than having great technical ability. Has there ever been a been a more worthy Champ? I doubt it.

I've listened to lots of Teddy's podcasts so it was no surprise to me how solid and honest this autobiography was. Teddy never pulls his punches, but is also a funny and comes across as a very respectful, warm hearted man who deserves as much recognition for his charity work as he gets from being a Boxing Hall of Fame trainer. But I'm guessing he doesn't care about adulation as he gets his rewards helping those in need. Well done Teddy and thank you for this great read. 👍🥊🥊🇬🇧🇺🇸
