I don’t know why I was so shocked at how good this book was. Yet another beautiful piece of writing from Holly. She truly is one of the best at writing extraordinary fairy tales that don’t merge into the sea of every other fantasy book nowadays. Perfect narrator for this book too. 5 star, chefs kiss 😘👌🏻.

Quick and easy to follow.

Really enjoyed this and will be straight onto the next listen. Nice quick paced story, easy to follow. Enjoyed listening to most of the characters and nice touch to have a different narrator for each person. Perfect filler book for when you don’t want to get into anything too long.

Story
I was upgraded to first class on a flight from London to New York. The food, champagne, and service were impeccable. The blue-eyed man sitting next to me, even better. He was suave and intelligent. We talked and laughed, and something clicked. Fate took over and the plane was grounded, and we had an unexpected stopover for the night. With no plans, we made our own.

Reasonable

Overall not a bad story. Typical romance read, but my word Emily is so whiny and cringe in the middle of this book. Cut out the torturous begging for him and you’ve got yourself a pretty reasonable story.

Perfection

What a ride. This story is hilarious, saucy and heartbreaking. Had me laughing out load and crying into my jumper. The MC is funny and not the usual independent cocky girl you see in so many fantasy books now. The last battle sense had me so tense I nearly through out my EarPods. Thoroughly enjoyed every moment of this gripping tale.

Story
Amber is more than just a girl with a stolen ID and an attitude; she is a daughter of the wolf-kind, a shapeshifter able to change forms at will. One night, as Amber prowls the Hollywood Hills in wolf form, she stumbles onto an occult ceremony, interrupting the ritual. As a result, Amber finds herself the unwilling mistress of a handsome demonic servant, Richard. Appearing as a fair youth of eighteen years, Richard is a demon accidentally summoned, then captured, by Dr. John Dee, court magician to Queen Elizabeth I.

Didn’t like the MC for the first few chapters. Thought she was overly cocky and just a bit of an ass, but she grew on me and ended up really enjoying the story. Elizabeth Evans was a plus, I love her narration.

Nora has been through enough break-ups to know she's the woman men date before they find their happy-ever-after. That's why Nora's sister has persuaded her to swap her desk in the city for a month's holiday in Sunshine Falls, North Carolina. It's a small town straight out of a romance novel, but instead of meeting sexy lumberjacks, handsome doctors or cute bartenders, Nora keeps bumping into...Charlie.
