Story
Dorky, socially awkward entomology student Evelyn wakes up one morning to find herself as some sort of alien-human hybrid trapped on an unknown planet. Once the initial panic winds down, she quickly learns she's capable of producing more of herself: additional bodies all sharing one mind. Being well-versed in sci-fi tropes, she quickly resolves to not devour the planet and turn into an unflinching biological armada, and instead uses her new powers to try and help as many people as possible. Unfortunately, it turns out that helping people is often very, very difficult.

incredible

if I'm being completely honest I wasn't expecting such an in-depth story or characters, this book, aside from being an incredible story, is something I feel would be great reading for many schools, the science, moral dilemmas, and hints at the economic state of our world are thought provoking as well as being a joy to listen to. also as a fellow Zerg lover I was only slightly 'completely' biased towards a book about hiveminds 😁

Story
An odd twist of fate made me the newest resident in Meteoropolis, a city hurtling through space on an ancient comet. After waking up in a containment pod, I got assigned to live with a unicorn gamer girl as my host. Not only did I need to find a job and a place to live, but I had to get used to bumping elbows with demons, dragons, aliens, and elves! But somehow, that wasn't even the craziest part. When I arrived in this strange new world, I found out my soul had fused with a solar dragon. Suddenly, I had powers beyond anything even the magical residents of this city were capable of.

solo leveling ripoff
Reviewed: 15-03-23
I listened to the first half of this and realised it was bad, but I gave it some more time because I don't like to judge things that people put work into making, but this is literally a distorted mirror of solo leveling. *minor spoilers*
dagger welding powerhouse of an MC who also summons shadow versions of creatures he's killed, red gate/rift, everyone but the MC is almost powerless, even a midranked rich young lackey who idolises the MC, it's all in here and it was all done, and done better, in solo leveling. all of that aside the story feels rushed, everything happens so fast and doesn't always make sense in line with the narrative, and the MC is pretty much a psychopath or is spouting clichés, very little in between. do not recommend.

His party turned against him. They killed him. They split his legacy and belongings amongst themselves. They hid the truth. They profited. Those heroes who betrayed the world. Now he’s back. Reborn. Reincarnated in a world where the system is life.
