I fancied a change from the usual thrillers with romance books I listen to.
A seasonal romance was the ideal tonic for my frazzled self.
The book was really well written & well matched with the brilliant narration. I would definitely recommend it.

Story
It’s peak tourist season in Eternity Springs, and Dana Delaney has her hands full running her ice cream parlor, Scoops. The last thing she needs is for her star employee to fall sick, but she’s in luck when a newcomer to town offers to fill in...and the fact that he’s sinfully handsome with a sexy Scottish accent is an added treat.

I wish someone had done their research. For a good audio bookto be a success, everything has to be right, the story & the narrators. sadly the narration wasn't good. The story could have been perfect but the narration wasn't. It isn't the narrators fault, they were just doing their job. Neither the female could do a Scottish accent or the Scottish narrator could do American.
I listened to the end but sadly I wasn't happy.
Normally i enjoy what I listen to so I'm sorry to leave a disappointing review.

This isn't my usual genre of books I listen to, but I gave it a chance & I'm so pleased I did.
The story was unusual & kept you guessing. The different characters were good.
The narration was good, even though at times you had to concentrate to figure out which character was speaking, they did sometimes sound the same.
I would recommend it.

I Loved this series. it's the first time I've listened to anything written by Charlie Cochet & it definitely won't be the last.
The books weren't cheesy with the romance & the drama was just the right amount.
Greg Bordeaux was the perfect narrator to do the stories justice.
Favourite character by a mile was Ace.
Best book was the Macon & Lucky's book 3 but you have to listen to all the stories from book one as they all flow into one another.
I would definitely recommend the series.

For anyone who doesn't think they are good enough. If they are too overweight, too underweight, too short, too tall. Any kind of insecurity, this is the book they should listen to. I can guarantee lots of laughs & smiles. You will fall in love with Henry & Reed.
As usual Joel Leslie was superb.
I would definitely recommend it.

This was one of the best books I've listened to in a long time.
I don't think if I had read the book, I would have reacted the same but Joel Leslie brings the whole story to life. He does this with every book he narrates & long may that continue.
I also don't think I've cried so much over the plot of a book for a long time.
I just love it when a man who sometimes is perceived as being a "Man's Man" (not my opinion) & that same man finds the love he didn't know he needed. Long may this kind of story keep being written.
I'm looking forward to listening to the next part.
I would definitely recommend it.

This is the first time I've listened to anything by this author & I'll listen to something else I'm sure.
The reason I found this series was the genius that is Joel Leslie. He made this series. He flitted from one character to another with seamless ease. How he does it, I've no idea with the use of different accents is incredible.
My favourite character was Alistair & I spent most of book 3 laughing.
The cutest character was Caolan & with the Welsh accent made him adorable.
I may just revisit this whole series again at some point in the future.
I would definitely recommend this series.
