I binged this audiable book, and I could not stop listening. This is the first time I have ever heard the full story of Dracula, and I was not disappointed.
I will be listening again soon (okay, probably start again tomorrow, lol)

Good to listen to and stands out in this genre as it is less predictable that others I have read in this genre and some really funny dialogue between characters.

Good bit of fun listening not to be taken too seriously. Typical in format but unique comedy and interactions between characters.
some sketchy characters and questionable relationships, but some great one liners.

Great voice acting and good story but....
Reviewed: 14-10-21
I really enjoyed this book and the voice acting was soo good it just enhanced the story... all the way up until the last 3 chapters. The end of the story just felt unfinished and at this point you have such high hopes for the characters that the ending just feels hollow and rushed, like there was no ending. Not sure if they are making room for book two but I was just left like hanging and not in a good way.

At the age of 17, after a childhood in an fostered family followed by six years in care homes, Norman Greenwood was given his birth certificate. He learned that his real name was not Norman. It was Lemn Sissay. He was British and Ethiopian. And he learned that his mother had been pleading for his safe return to her since his birth. Here Sissay recounts his life story. It is a story of neglect and determination. Misfortune and hope. Cruelty and triumph.

Amazing.... and honestly tragic and inspiring.
Reviewed: 17-12-20
I finished this in one day... I could not stop. Lemn's story is both inspiring and sad. It truly brings the phase "there go I but for the grace of God" into a sharp pointed focus. A system called care designed to to care for the most vulnerable who have no defense against injustice and abuse fails miserably in this account... an account which shows cracks and failings of the people working in it and structure itself. Well performed and well written a purchase you will never forget or regret.

Do you believe in Jesus the Healer? Many Christians confess, "I believe in Jesus, the Son of God, the Savior, the Redeemer." But what about Jesus the Healer? Could it be that believers today are not experiencing the fullness of heaven's healing power because they have ignored this vital, ancient identity of Jesus?

In a remote corner of early Victorian England, where traditional practices remain untouched by time, Bathsheba Everdene stands out as a beacon of female independence and self-reliance. However, when confronted with three suitors, among them the dashing Sergeant Troy, she shows a reckless capriciousness that threatens the stability of the whole community. Published in 1874, and an immediate best seller, Far From the Madding Crowd established Thomas Hardy as one of Britain's foremost novelists.

Exceptional book, essential classic reading!

It is obvious why this is a classic and why H.G. Wells is so highly praised as a literary giant of classics. It is brilliantly written, capturing the imagination using well known places as settings for the story and science relevant to the time to make it believable. Wells also depicts human response to disaster in a unique way. I could not stop listening! This version is well narrated and easy to listen to. Just about to start listening again. :)
