It's a great start to a new series, featuring the adventures of Jander a Mage apprentice and Andrei his master who comes later his lover. And their dragon Gabriel. I can't wait to listen to the rest of the series. Really well narrated by Dan Calley who is one of my favourite narrators.

Story
When you stop fighting windmills, imaginary or otherwise, you tend to end up with a lot of time on your hands. Of course, Aleksey Rider-Mikkelsen, Lord of Light Island, isn’t going to get bored. And if he did, he obviously wouldn’t join a preposterous hunt for sunken treasure with Ben and his annoying friends to keep himself entertained. He only has himself to blame, therefore, when a fun adventure suddenly turns deadly serious. There’s a reason some treasure should stay hidden.

I loved Wade story, there was loads of action and it was nice to see the other characters from the Soulbound series make an appearance. Wade and Riordan were great together and I'm glad Wade got his happy ever after. Gary Furlong's narration was excellent as always.

I love this series, I can't get enough of the main characters. All the supporting cast are brilliant. The plot's and story lines are fantastic. The narrator is spot on, he really brings the storyline to life. I'm hoping the rest of the series is coming out on audible.

Story
Twenty years ago, monsters rose on earth and began a new age of civilization. One where humans live in military-controlled, cramped and dirty cities along the coasts, and the majority of the United States is known as the Wastes. A lawless, desolate and dangerous place, teeming with monsters that have claimed the land for their own. Including Wyn the Soul Eater. He appears every three years, making his way across the country and slaughtering humans randomly, sucking them dry until they’re nothing but husks.

This is a first time author and narrator for me. I love the story, even though there was some violence and was lots of humour as well, I really liked Wyn and Danny, they made a sweet couple and were suited to each other. Michael narration was very good, I really liked his voice for Wyn, Danny and the other characters. I'm looking forward to getting the next book about Edin, who we met in this book.

Story
When life dragged me down, I assumed I’d never get back up. I never guessed that Andras—the dark magic user I was always told to fear—would not only give me a helping hand, but draw me into his arms and protect me from those who wished to harm me. I never imagined that Andras and his “danger noodle” would be there to make me laugh, to care about me, and show me what it means to be loved. But now, the two of us have to prove to the Casters that we won’t be knocked down.

Story
When the light-magic users known as Casters took everything from me, I vowed to make them pay. Little did I know the perfect opportunity would show up in the form of a sweet Caster the moment I took his arrow to the heart…literally. Bastian knows that I’m made of dark magic, the very thing he’s been taught to destroy. But instead of turning away from me, he takes a chance on me, leading me behind the walls of the group out to kill me.

The supporting case of Torin and Ruiz are great. I'm looking forward to listening to the next book when it comes out.
