Story
Lieutenant Commander Shawn 'Calvin' Hobbs and his special forces platoon just returned from a three-month mission to the stars. The technology they brought back will help with the Earth's defense, but it won't be enough to hold off the alien menace headed their way. Although they made it back alive, they returned without any new allies or help in building the fleet necessary to ensure the Earth's survival. They've got to go back.

I really enjoy this and have listened through the whole series twice now.
Without giving anything away the use of myths and legends to create a plausible universe is really well done and kept me engaged throughout.
The narrator does a great job performing multiple creative voices without distracting from the story.
As stated I have listened through the series twice now so I obviously enjoy it and recommend it. Please note that I was provided a free copy of this to provide an honest review.

Story
The Drakuls have found the solar system. A merciless race, there is nothing left once the Drakuls have conquered a civilization except the bones of its dead. When the first Drakul exploratory ship emerges from the stargate, Earth's days become numbered. Although LCDR Shawn "Calvin" Hobbs and the crew of the TSS Vella Gulf came back with a battleship from their last mission, it won't be enough to defend the solar system from the Drakul menace.

Story
It’s odd the way some things work out. You expect to wake up dead, and instead, you wake up to the beautiful face of your wife. I was understandably confused. I had died…or at least I sure as heck thought I had. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining. I’ve been alive for a number of years now, and to be honest…I’m quite fond of it. I just didn’t understand "how" I was alive. My name is Fleet Admiral Jeremy Riker…but my friends call me Dog. This is my story.

I really enjoyed this series, set in an interesting universe with lots of plot twists and even some humour, I cannot recommend this title enough.
it is both well written and the voice acting is seem less. I am now off to get the next in the series.

Like the last two I really enjoyed this story, it continued with the excitement and twists you would want and expect. Its hard to review without giving away any spoilers but it is well written and narrated, You do need to have listened to the first two but first but guess it would be fine without doing so.
Overall it was a joy to listen to.

Newly reinstated Captain Deborah Allen Riker (a.k.a. Admiral Dare) has been called many things over the years. Risk-averse is not one of them. When she and her badly crippled starship found themselves lost in the middle of an ocean of uncharted stars, with the fate of the galaxy on the line, facing enemies from the past, present, and future.... I went straight from listening book 1 to this as i really enjoyed the first one and I was not let down by this. There are lots of twists and turns set in an interesting back drop which got me hooked. As per the first it is well written and the narrator does another great job. I have literally moved straight onto book 3 in the series and I cannot wait to get through it.
I would recommend starting from book 1 if you have not already done so as it will be difficult to follow otherwise as well as missing out on an excellent book.

Story
Water didn't flow right on Hidrin, not as it used to. It’s been like this for millennia. Rather than rest in basins or canyons, waters rise high into the sky to pierce clouds and race over continents. Bels, they are called. Mimicking the image of a yarn ball, they weave over and under one another, disrupting the already fractured view of the stars. Strange sights, but sights that people have grown comfortable and accustomed to.

This book was different that the usual scifi that I read/listen to in that its based around the sea which I dont think I have come across before. That being said it has large robots fighting so whats not to like :)
I really did enjoy this and I would read/listen to a sequel.
