Story
Trust doesn’t come easily when you’ve been running for as long as I have, which is why moving in with a man I barely know is such a bad idea. Shepard Colson is all golden-boy charm and devastating good looks. But I know what it’s like to be taken in by easy smiles and the promise of forever—I have the scars to prove it.

I was eagerly awaiting Lawson story.
Wow Catherine did not disappoint with Lawson and Hallie’s story.
Lawson is juggling being a dad to 3 boys and the Chief of Police, until he decides to get a nanny.
That Nanny brings memories of 5 years previously, the scars, dramas and memories.
The story has you hooked from the first page. Perfect ending to this wonderful series.

A wonderful new series from Catherine and could not stop listening
I both read and listen to audible and it was fantastic.
I loved the history of Holt and Wren and the connection they still had. We relived their tragic back story and it was a gripping read. You always felt there was unfinished business and they deserve their HEA.
WOW the story pulled you in, a real page turner.
The audio was exceptional, absolutely loved it.

Escape to the Highland Coral Beach - where broken hearts can be healed. Beatrice Halliday needs a break from life. Booking a trip to the Highlands on a whim, Beatrice hopes learning Gaelic in a beautiful Scottish village might help heal her grief after losing her baby, her husband and her much-loved job in the space of months. But Port Willow Bay isn't exactly as the website promised. Instead of learning a new language, she's booked in to learn the ancient skill of willow weaving, her hotel room is Princess and the Pea themed (with a stack of mattresses for her bed!) and worse still, her tutor is Atholl Fergusson, the grumpy landlord of the hotel where Beatrice is staying.

Story
There were shadows I was running from. Ones that haunted and taunted. Ones that made it so I had no choice but to disappear. I’d spent years hiding from the world. My little island haven, the only assurance of safety. It all changed the moment he showed up at my door. The hint of pain in his eyes told me that something haunted him, too. And I couldn’t help but be drawn closer. But finding the person I needed most came with risks I never expected. And when our ghosts find us again, neither of us may make it out this time.

Catherine has written another wonderful book in the Wrecked series.
For Shay it is all about remaining in background, anonymous and leading a quiet existence. She lives on Harbor Island as the caretaker, an idea place to hide from the tragedies that have happened in her life. Until a new owner occupies the island and then her safe haven is disturbed.
Brody is an artist and the new owner of Harbor he moves to Harbor to look for more inspiration to his work. A talented artist is intrigued by Shay and her life on the island. His creativity is inspired when he gets to know Shay.
As Brody gets to know Shay he realises she is hiding from a dark past and wants to protect her.
Can Shay's past catch up with her as she develops feelings for Brody and begins to open herself to make friends?
The book is an amazing read with suspense, twist and turns along the way.

Story
One night was all it took for everything to change. From college student to guardian in a single breath. My siblings became my world. No time for date nights or romantic dreams. I traded quiet weekends for sleepless nights. Giving my all to make sure they were cared for. But Griffin had a brokenness that called to me - one that mirrored my own. Gruff and just a little bit reckless. He was the last thing I needed. But everything I wanted.

Wonderful book 5*
Reviewed: 20-01-21
Wrecked Palace is the 3rd book in the Wrecked series and I was so looking forward to this.
I think after reading it it is my favourite.
This book has every emotion and suspense to keep you hooked. Caelyn took on the mother figure role to her siblings at a young age and put her own life on hold to care for them.
What can I say about Griffin this mysterious, grumpy man (Giant) who we met in earlier books and left you wanting more. This man is really a tortured soul but sees something in Caelyn and wants the best for her. He offers her a job as a chef/cook so he can protect her.
This book pulls on your heart strings and beautifully written and I cannot recommend it enough worth 5*+.
Audio is perfect
