I have loved so many of this author's books so I was really excited to listen to this one. The story started off strong and I was hooked right in. Paige and Nate have a steamy encounter Paige finds her boyfriend cheating on her, but Paige decides due to the distance they live from each other, and the lingering trust issues she has from her ex that its best to leave things alone and not pursue a relationship. Several months later, she wishes she took a different course of action, but lucky for her, Nate is determined in all things related to her and hunts her down.

I loved Nate. He and his family were the highlight of this book. It was nice to see a man so smitten and so willing to do anything for the woman he loves, even give up his job. My sole issue with this book was Paige's inability to get over her trust issues. She had a wonderful man who loved her more than anything, and his family who treated her like a member of the family, but she was so stuck on her past that she could never move forward. It unfortunately made the book drag a little, making it seem redundant and making her seem overly whiny and immature.

This story was an easy read/listen and overall it was engaging, though predictable, although that didn't take away from the story for me. I will continue to read this authors work as I have really enjoyed some others, and this was enjoyable as well, but Paige's personality did detract from the story somewhat. Theo Sinclair and Lexi Evans did a fantastic job with the narration of this story and bringing Nate and Paige to life. The Flock VIP Review Team Pink Flamingo Productions

I have absolutely loved the Fighting Series by Nikki Ash. I listened to them all on audiobook and fell in love with each of the couples and their stories. I was so excited to dive in to this holiday story. It was so much fun to go back into this world and revisit each of the couples and their kids. I did unfortunately find it somewhat difficult to get truly in to the story because it flip flopped back and forth way too much which I feel made the book more confusing and less cohesive. I think for me there were just way too many people that the back and forth didn't work for me and just made things a bit more confusing. I did love getting to know Ryan and Marco and Ryan's connection was beautiful. While I was a fan of the female narrator of the story, I struggled listening to the male narrator. I felt like things were too bland and monotone and it just didn't bring these characters to life the way I would have liked. I am very excited to get Bella's story. While I struggled with this audiobook, if you are a fan of this author and these characters, you may love it! The Flock VIP Review Team Pink Flamingo Productions

I have been seriously loving this author's books lately so I was really excited to dive in to this one. I do love the single parent parent, so when I found out this was about two single parents, I was all in. The book did start out really heavy so my emotions were all over the place for a variety of reasons and I was a little nervous at where the story was going to go. I do think the book was somewhat fast paced and there was definitely an element of insta-love which isn't really my jam.

I did find the story predictable and there were parts that I think needed to be further developed but I did still think it was interesting and engaging. I enjoyed the scenes with the girls, though I don't think the author was completely accurate/realistic in the way she portrayed their behavior/verbal interactions given their age, especially Addie. I loved how each adult adored both children equally and I did appreciate how protective Ryder was of all his girls.

As mentioned this story was overall interesting and I did highly highly enjoy the narration. I do think it could have used some tweaks here and there to help with the overall flow of the story but I read for fun and for an escape, and overall, this helped me do that. Drunk on You is a fake marriage romance that brings all the feels and all the spice and will have you rooting for these two main characters.

Both Ana and Julian go out looking to find a partner to help better their odds at landing their dream job, but the joke is on them when it turns out that they are vying for the same job. I adored these two characters from the very beginning. They were relatable, likable and they just seemed to belong together even from early on. I liked how hard Anastasia worked but and how determined she was in getting what she wanted. I loved Julian. He was protective, caring and just swoony. Moreso, I loved that they each opened the other person to what they didn't know they were missing. Julian and Ana had insane chemistry as well so that was a bonus.

I absolutely loved the ending and the epilogue and the narration was fantastic. Kelsey Navarro Foster and Walker Williams were engaging to listen to and bought Ana and Julian's characters to life. I couldn't have asked for anything more. The Flock VIP Review Team Pink Flamingo Productions

Takedown is book three in the Fighting Love series and I have really been enjoying this series. I was very excited to get Mason's story and Mason and Mila have been a long time coming given how they met.

Mason is a famous UFC fighter who spends his days training and his nights with different women, never taking any of them too seriously. He is a loyal friend and an amazing uncle. He has a complicated past and family life, something that has greatly impacted his self esteem and his outlook on relationships.

Mila is a single mom. She had her son when she was young and she is now divorced. She doesn't want to settle and she wants romance and love. She is hardworking and a wonderful mother. She sees Mason as a total player and not someone she would ever be with.

Life has a funny way of working out, and sometimes you end up with the thing you didn't even know you needed. I really liked both Mila and Mason as the main characters and I adored Alec. I liked all of them together. Though Mason struggled to believe in himself, he was an amazing person to all the people in his life and didn't give himself nearly enough credit. I found this story very engaging and highly enjoyable and I love this group of friends. The one thing I struggled with this book was the repetitiveness of the issues mentioned in relation to Mason and his past etc. I felt like it just became too much after awhile. The book was still enjoyable and I really enjoyed the narration. Both Avery Reid and Christian Leatherman did a fantastic job bringing this story to life. Controlled Chaos is book one in the Love and Lyrics set and is a friends to lovers, second chance romance. Layla and Camden were best friends in high school but the timing was always a little off for them to be more. Just before Camden was going to tell Layla how he felt, she announced she was getting married. Camden moved across the country and pursued his music career, going on to become famous. Things in Layla's relationship went downhill and eventually Camden and Layla were given a second chance. I absolutely adored these two together. I thought Layla was so strong and a wonderful mother, and I fell in love with Camden immediately. He was amazing with Felix and he was patient and protective and oh so swoony with Layla. This story had some difficult and hard to read/listen moments, but it also had so much love. I highly enjoyed as Camden and Layla's relationship grew from friendship to more of a romantic relationship and I was so happy they got their happily ever after. Marina Barrett and Walker Williams did a wonderful job with the narration of this story as Layla and Camden and did a phenomenal job bringing this emotional story to life.

Silent Chaos is a second chance romance that will pull at your heartstrings at times. Kaylee and Braxton were high school sweethearts with big plans for their future until everything went sideways, and they find themselves on opposite sides of the country and Braxton completely hates Kaylee for breaking his heart. Braxton goes on to make it as a drummer in a famous band and eventually Kaylee ends up joining up with the band as part of her job, though neither she or Braxton are happy about this new development. Though time has passed and both have grown, some hurts are too tough to get beyond and Braxton has really held on to his grief and makes Kaylee suffer in the process. I really enjoyed this audiobook. The narration by Avery Reid and Gideon Frost was 100% fantastic. I love a good second chance romance and this one had some solid plusses. Overall, I did really like Braxton and Kaylee though I did struggle with both of their behavior at times (mostly Braxton). I did find myself rooting for them and their happily ever after. The ending left me a little sad for the next book but definitely intrigued.

Total chaos is book three in the Love and Lyrics series and is Kendall and Declan's story. Declan has been pining away for Kendall pretty much since he has met her but she is his best friend's sister and therefore off limits. She also has a history of relationships that really go anywhere except into her music lyrics. This story hooked me from the start. Having listened to this series from the beginning, the listener gets glimpses into both Kendall and Declan prior to their book so I needed to know how their story was going to play out. I loved the friends to lovers aspect of this story and the fact he falls first aspect. This story has some twists and turns I was not anticipating and was definitely a bit of an emotional journey as well. I absolutely loved everything about this book and I think it might be my favorite of the series so far. After so much unrequited love on Declan's behalf, it was so so sweet for these two to finally find peace with each other. Sarah Puckett and Teddy Hamilton narrated this amazing story as Kendall and Declan and of course totally nailed it. If I could put together my ideal narrator duo, I think this might be it. They pulled this story off flawlessly and evoked all of the emotion warranted by this beautiful story.

Bleeding Chaos is the final book in the Love and Lyrics series and is Gage's story. Gage broke my heart throughout this whole series and I knew this book was going to pull at each and every heartstring and that it definitely did. By the end my heart was full and healed, a true testament to this author and the characters and world she has created. Gage has been struggling for years, drowning in death and alcohol until he finally hits rock bottom. While the guys in the band and their wives are all supportive and want to help, Gage ultimately decides he needs to step away and be alone for awhile. When he comes back, he realizes he is a father, but its a very complicated situation. He wants to do right by his little girl and the girl's mother, but trust is hard to earn. He is going to give it his all though. I love, love, loved Gage getting to know Rory and the determination he had to be a good father to Rory and to prove the changes he made to Sadie. This story was emotional, angsty, raw and real. Gregory Salinas and Kelsey Navarro were remarkable as Gage and Sadie. This story was so emotional and they did fantastic bringing these characters and this story to life.

I was invested in this series from beginning to end and did not want to let these characters go. The narration for all the books was on point and I would highly recommend the author, the series and all of the narrators. Pink Flamingo Productions The Flock VIP Review Team

Arranged Marriage Mafia Story with Cliffhanger

Wicked Angel is book one in the Sinister Arrangement duet and is an arranged marriage mafia age gap story. Angel has no desire to have anything to do with her family business and she just wants to go to college and live a normal life and have her freedom. Her father, ready to step down from the head of the family, offers up his daughters to Gaven, a known business associate and hitman, but also someone he trusts. Gaven is instantly taken with Angel and once they are married he will take over the Price Family Syndicate. Angel has an overwhelming urge to run but follows through with the marriage, until events shortly thereafter the wedding have her fleeing. Gaven has made it clear she will always be his wife and if she runs, he will chase.

Initially I really liked Gaven. In the early stages while Angel's father and Gaven were discussing the marriage, he seemed like although he was very powerful and could be ruthless in business, he seemed like he also had a side that would treat Angel well and be very protective. While the protective aspect did hold true, I was not at all impressed in his treatment of her prior to their nuptuals, and while I am all for some spice in my books, this book just made me uncomfortable at times. I didn't feel any kind of connection between them at all which made rooting for them on any kind of level difficult.

I also felt like the story could have had a lot of promise but wasn't maybe well thought out or executed and needed further development. I was left with a lot of questions and various parts did not quite make sense.

I did think that the narration was very enjoyable and it did help to keep me invested in the story line. Michael Norman Johnson and Sarah Puckett both did a fabulous job as Gaven and Angel and in bringing these characters to life. I always find Sara Puckett extremely enjoyable to listen to and she is one of my favorite narrators. I would highly recommend both of these narrators and look forward to listening to more from them in the future. Pink Flamingo Productions The Flock VIP Review Team

Tristan is a single dad and he he is a great father. He loved his daughter the minute he found out about her. His relationship with her mother was extremely complicated and she is no longer in the picture. Tristan meets Charlie on one of his rare nights out, and he is quickly smitten. Charlie is not really interested though. They run into each other again when Tristan's daughter Lexi starts chatting her up in a coffee shop and they instantly become quick friends, though it is clear Charlie is hiding something.

Tristan and Charlie have amazing chemistry and an easy way about their interactions. I love how protective Tristan was of Charlie and how he wanted to ensure she felt safe with him and wanted her to open up to him on her own terms. I loved what a good dad Tristan was to his daughter and I highly enjoyed Mason throughout the story and what an amazing friend he has been to Tristan and the relationship he had with Lexi.

Overall I found this story engaging and interesting. I did think it was somewhat predictable, but it didn't take away from the story for me. The audiobook was very well done and helped keep me invested in the story. Both Gideon Frost and Marina Barrett did a wonderful job with these characters and bringing this (at times emotional) story to life. I would definitely recommend both of these narrators and I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

Wildcard is book five in the Westbrook Elite Series and can be read as a standalone though I do think it can be much more appreciated if you have read the other books in the series as there are a lot of characters in the book and all have their different roles and are in various relationships etc.

Rush is fairly new to Westbrook, having transferred there after a terrible incident happened back home and he needed to start over. Rush is part of the swim team at Westbrook, known as Elite though he is still finding his footing with his teammates.

Landry is the new assistant coach for the Elite swim team and the coach's daughter and in a weird twist of events, she and Rush meet one night at the pool and share a steamy encounter where no details of who they really are get exchanged. Surprise all around when they learn just how closely they will be working together in the future, but despite the nature of their newfound relationship they are found inexplicably drawn to each other. Landry becomes somewhat of a lifeline for Rush, someone he can lean on and trust, something he hasn't had in quite a while.

As Rush's life starts to spiral again, loyalty will be tested, more questions will be raised and eventually mysteries will be solved, but it is definitely one wild ride.

I really enjoyed this story. I found it intriguing and engaging and I was invested from beginning to end. I really like this group of friends and how they all have each other's backs and how they come together for each other. Rush and Landry's chemistry was smoking. I am not really a fan of insta-lust/insta-love but I think the author did a really good job with making their connection seem believable.

The narration for this book was fantastic. Cecily Foster and Gavin McAllister did a truly wonderful job briniging these characters to life and making this story a highly enjoyable listen. I would definitely recommend them as narrators and I cannot wait to listen to more of their work in the future. Pink Flamingo Productions The Flock VIP Review Team

I was sucked in to this story right from the very beginning. I love a good pregnancy story, and the author started this book off right. Tapping Out is about Bella an MMA fighter who finds herself pregnant and then the story alternates between the past and present weaving the tale about the baby's father and their very, very comlpicated history.

Marco and Bella have been best friends since they met, and as they grew up Bell's feelings turned into more. The chemistry between them definitely wasn't lacking which would indicate maybe Marco had feelings for Bella that were more than just friends as well. There were a couple of occasions where things got heated but then Marco ran, and their friendship suffered.

After being in a horrific car accident, Marco is in a lot of pain and his life spirals. With Marco being in really bad shape, Bella decides to move along with her pregnancy without him.

This story is full of back and forths, and a whole lot of poor decision making, mostly on Marco's part, but also on Bella's. I think the story had a lot of promise, but I struggle when stories are based solely on a lot of drama just for drama sake, and this story was a lot of drama. While Marco's substance abuse was a very real issue, I think his recovery could have been developed further and I struggled with his constant running and poor treatment of Bella and her continued acceptance of it. I did like that he was a good hands on dad, and when he was present he was all in.

The narration for this audiobook was fantastic. Gregory Salinas and Kasi Hollowell did a wonderful job bringing this story to life as Marco and Bella and I would highly, highly recommend them both as narrators. Pink Flamingo Productions The Flock VIP Review Team
