Story
This is the shocking story of a doctor who was addicted to murder: a man who wickedly abused the trust of his patients with horrifying results. He was a pillar of the community: attentive, kind, never too busy to chat. Yet behind this charming facade lay the world's most prolific serial killer, with at least 200 victims. Small, bespectacled Dr Shipman was making house calls - and then committing murder with bloodcurdling expertise and professionalism. He saw himself as playing God.

Story
Lenny McLean was one of the deadliest bareknuckle fighters Britain has ever seen. He had dear, powerful friends, but he also had terrible enemies. So much so that he had two bullet wounds in his back - each from a different attack. He was also stabbed repeatedly - always from behind. But Lenny was also a warm, big-hearted grizzly bear of a man, whose main weakness was an overwhelming desire to put the welfare of his mates ahead of his own wellbeing.

Glorified thug, but a good read

alot of people tout Lenny as gentleman, loyal honest man.
let's be honest, after listening to this book he is just a glorified thug getting into alot of trouble throughout his life.
But, this was a good book.
thoroughly enjoyable and well worth a download.

Great if you like statistics not much else
Reviewed: 03-10-21
this book is great if 1) You are into finance reading and 2) you are a fan of statistics.
I stuck out the whole book as I am a stickler for finishing what I start. but by the end I was happy to put it to bed.
The book is simply the results of data processing and surveying millionaires.
The book does make you realise how expenditure can be diverted, but it struggles to keep your attention.

Story
Levi Bellfield is one of the most notorious British serial killers of the last fifty years - his name alone evokes horror and revulsion, after his string of brutal murders in the early 2000s. At 3:07pm on 21st March, 2002, Milly Dowler left her school in Surrey for the last time. Less than an hour later, she was to be abducted and murdered in the cruellest fashion, sparking a missing person investigation that would span months before her body was found.

True crime books always pique my interest, this book did not failed to do so.
the book is well read and paints a great picture of the work put into finding and convicting Levi Bellfield.
