I love, loved this bully romance. This isn't my favorite trope but I think this one has the potential to change that. Lucas is a true bully and Gemma is an innocent but she puts on her tuff girl boots and fights back. The chemistry between the two leaps off the page. No lulls, I listened straight through without thinking of taking a break. I also appreciate the epilogue that gives you everything. Now I'm just hoping that Devlin and Blair have a story too. The narration was great both are new to me narrators and I'll gladly listen to other books by them. Definitely worth a credit

This book snuck up on me and I was completely sucked in.
At first I thought Jackson was a tool and I wasn't going to be able to connect; then he grew on me then I really hated him etc. Some how I got completely invested and got my feelings tugged all over the place. Loved that. This book just kept getting better and better. I don't know who needs to hear this but it has hot scenes too. The narration is great, they both make these characters come to life. I'm a big fan of Sarah Puckett so I already new she'd be good. I wasn't familiar with Jay Alder but he was so spot on for a douchey college guy it made it even more engrossing. Also you get a lot of book for just one credit. Its broken into part 1 and 2 but all in the same book so no pesky cliffhangers or an extra credit needed.

I really liked that this was like the Nancy Drew of bully romances. You get a mystery that you have no clue whats going on and the sexy bully heat most of us love. The narrators did a good job and I can be a little picky.

Amazing!!!!

I absolutely loved Prisoner! The characters are so flawed but completely loveable at the same time. I was completely captivated from start to finish. Grayson is probably now one of my favorite MC'S. He was written with so much depth that I personally think its impossible not to fall in love with him. I'm not sure how I ended up reading/listening to Hostage before Prisoner but unfortunately I did. Don't get me wrong it didn't make it any less enjoyable, just irks me I didn't go in the right order. I feel like I would have understood Stone a little better in Hostage. I'll get it right next time. The narration was fantastic. They made these characters so real. Worth a credit even out of order.

Gritty and angsty

This is just the tip of the iceberg and I honestly can't wait for the end. Pepper Winters has a way of building up the anticipation to the point you can hardly stand it. I'll probably go back and listen again once I know how it ends with out all my angsty feelings taking away from my overall experience. The narration was great! Sarah Puckett was as good as I remembered if not better. Scott Rider is new to me and I'm going to need to search him out on Audible to make sure I don't miss his other work.

This reminds me of the show Friends, if it was a sexy romance instead of a comedy. The Plus Ones is funny but it's sexier than it is funny (thank you). I think the characters are relatively relatable because either you are the last married of your friends or you have that bestie that's still single. I really enjoyed listening and will listen again and again because it delivers that feel good feeling. The narration, if you aren't familiar are top notch and it shows in this performance. 🎧Audiobook Obsession 🎧

I'm not sure if this is a good wow or a bad wow but it's definitely a wow. This story is vividly detailed and well written but the details are absurdly cruel. If you are looking for any speck of romance pass this book up. However if you are into Masochism or maybe you just want a book that is interestingly cringeworthy? BINGO.. look know further. I hated Cain but I honestly wanted to love him and for him to find love and be changed but like I said, this just isn't romance. If you have any triggers stay away because this whole book is one big trigger. I thought Elliott Daniels did a great job with the narration. I would recommend this book to the right people. I requested this book to review and as wicked as it turned out to be I was still interested till the very end.

This was a juicy listen and I enjoyed it! It's not what I originally thought it would be about but what's a book without some twists and turns. I'm anxious to get too the next book to see where it takes me. I thought the narrator did a really good job. I'm leaving this review after receiving this book at my own request.
