Great story but I think it could have been a little longer as the ending seemed a little rushed to me. That is the only small criticism I can offer though as I am a BIG fan of Robert’s Work

Brilliant story but one chapter too long (IMHO)
Reviewed: 07-09-22
I am really enjoying this series of books and this one has to be my favourite so far BUT…..
I was totally satisfied at the end of chapter 74 which ended “Dear Steven”. If the last chapter moved Tom’s storyline on a little and left a small hook for the next book then I could have understood it but I think it went a little too far to over complete the story for me. I can’t really say more without spoiling the storyline for others but bear it in mind and see if you agree with me or am I in a minority of one?
Well worth the credit though so onward to the next instalment we go
Brilliantly read though (I always like to appreciate the reader, especially when they bring the story to life)

I really enjoyed this latest episode in the series. The first three quarters of the book are great. I was a little disappointed with the ending though. I can’t explain further without giving out a spoiler so I will stop there.
Joe Jameson is also worthy of comment. He is on a par with the great Sean Barrett (Reader of the companion series) and I really like the way he reads the “Evie” character who reminds me, just a little of Tracy Beaker with her attitude……..brilliant!!

I got the first two books in a 2for1 sale and I have been hooked ever since. Well worth spending my monthly credit and is just the right side of believable although I think that the 8yr old hooligan could be a little older to be able to beat up a fully grown, if not completely fit Logan. Love the reader too so five stars all the way

This was a very gripping story that was brilliantly read by all of the cast.
I sort of found this one by accident and I am so glad that I did. Most of the reviews I read prior to my purchase were spot on. I’d love Sarah Vaughn to write a follow on or something similar. I will keep an eye out for future work by her. Very nicely done to all concerned
A very happy and counted, Paul
