Having survived their journey into the Dark Heart, Arthur and his dragon, Brixaby, have a new goal: complete their Legendary card sets. Unfortunately, the next Legendary card is locked away in Blood Moon, a hive with a reputation for chaos, lawlessness, scourgling eruptions, and—rumor has it—dedicated dragon hunters. Still, Arthur and his retinue feel they have little to fear. Then again, they also don't have much knowledge of what actually lies ahead.

Brilliant story but a terrible narrator. I nearly returned the book because of how awful the narration is, I only persevered because I've previously read the physical book and know it is excellent

I am really enjoying this series, but it's frustrating to listen to the same words being used hundreds of times. In every single fight it says, a vein popped out in his forehead, for example. this book really needs to be checked by an editor.

Reviewed: 07-07-24
the general story and narrator are great, but it's let down by it's vocabulary. please stop using the word guys, it's used hundreds of times. Even the scholars and the beasts use the word. And why does everyone call the main character Young Master. even the small children do. surely they would call him Lord and only older servants would say Young Master. this book would be excellent if it had an Editor.

The manhunt has officially begun. Now the target of a game-wide Holy War, Ned is forced to flee the Onyx Sands. The odds are stacked against him; Tyrann has tens of thousands of followers, a religion that’s spreading like wildfire, and a powerful god that will be stepping into the world of EBO in a matter of days. Meanwhile, Ned’s allies are a squirrel-exploding bard, a repurposed home security system who takes her instructions far too literally, and a wildly unreliable talking axe named Frank. But even as the inevitable conflict draws closer, change is coming to EBO.
