No nonsense, practical intro to wine

I've listened to a few audios on wine, and while the format (a lecture unaccompanied by wine) is never ideal, this one in particular is very good at simplifying and getting you to a very good understanding. Highly recommend.

Still a great book, the character of Lockhart is a bit lazy and obvious.

Story
A vast canvas of camps, prisons, transit centres and secret police, of informers and spies and interrogators but also of everyday heroism, The Gulag Archipelago is Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn's grand masterwork. Based on the testimony of some 200 survivors, and on the recollection of Solzhenitsyn's own 11 years in labour camps and exile, it chronicles the story of those at the heart of the Soviet Union who opposed Stalin, and for whom the key to survival lay not in hope but in despair.

Story
Sleep is one of the most important aspects of our life, health and longevity and yet it is increasingly neglected in 21st century society, with devastating consequences: every major disease in the developed world - Alzheimer's, cancer, obesity, diabetes - has very strong causal links to deficient sleep. Until very recently, science had no answer to the question of why we sleep, or what good it served, or why its absence is so damaging to our health. Compared to the other basic drives in life - eating, drinking and reproducing - the purpose of sleep remained elusive.

Very interesting, though excessively argumentative, to the point of being less convincing at times.
Definitely recommend.
