Story
Since the 1970s, FantasticLand has been the theme park where "Fun is Guaranteed!" But when a hurricane ravages the Florida coast and isolates the park, the employees find it anything but fun. Five weeks later, the authorities who rescue the survivors encounter a scene of horror. Photos soon emerge online of heads on spikes outside of rides and viscera and human bones littering the gift shops, breaking records for hits, views, likes, clicks, and shares.

Wow, Wow, Wow!

I picked this up on recommendations and binge listened. It’s a great story that had me listening for noises in the dark nights! I liked the different approach for the chapters and the thoughtful ending.

Story
The year is 2033. The world has been reduced to rubble. Humanity is nearly extinct and the half-destroyed cities have become uninhabitable through radiation. Beyond their boundaries, they say, lie endless burned-out deserts and the remains of splintered forests. Survivors still remember the past greatness of humankind, but the last remains of civilisation have already become a distant memory. Man has handed over stewardship of the earth to new life-forms.

Don’t let me put you off!

I gave up with about 3 hours left as I just couldn’t follow the story anymore or really didn’t care where it went.
I listened to this on my commute, as I do with all the other audio books, but with this one it didn’t seem to flow or more over it felt like a long and drawn out story.
Only my opinion!
