I listened to this audio without reading other reviews as I love Alice winters and Greg. After listening and reading other reviews I needed to put my thoughts out there! I agree with others that Andras snark in the beginning felt too much and I was initially concerned that if he was the main love interest that it would hard to get into it because it isn't a likeable snark.......but......that's actually what I enjoyed most about this book, the character development, finding out about their past and why they are the way they are. The plot doesn't have you on thr edge of your seat, but its complex and intriguing and in no way did I guess ANYTHING before it happened which is a first. The books ends with a HFN so im jumping into to book 2 immediately!

This collection of short stories was so good! I was worried it would be ALL spice, but its so much more. seeing how the couples relationships are developing is beautiful but the platonic relationships (wynn & Moth) were such fun to listen too,, and don't get me started on the "Elf Thing"! I laughed right through that story :-)

As always the narration was SUPREME!

I've listen to a few books that have a Daddy / Boy relationship and thought this would be similar, but its quite different, the level of Dom/sub and how involved it is in every aspect of their relationship, not just the bedroom was intriguing. The sex was hot and made up ALOT of the book, but it carried the whole story forward too. I listened for 9hr 40mins straight, so yeah, I enjoyed!

I found this author through the vino & veritas series and thought I would give this a shot. First time listening to this narrator too!
Absolutely loved it, heart breaking circumstances, well rounded characters and HEA. Sex scenes aren't super steamy but more realistic for the first time/age of characters and don't feel just put in there for the sake of smut!
I will definitely be listening to the nest in the series

Like other reviews have said, the narration , particularly the cornish accent when spoken in the Tanner chapters, was just wrong. (definitely more Irish)
Now, I can deal with and accent being off, but when you have dual narrators, giving the same characters a completely different voice, thats when it ruins a book.
I have no idea how recording audio books happens, but it feels like no one took the time to listen to these two narrator's side by side/chapter by chapter and say, look this isn't working. disappointing.

The story itself is good, always happy with a HEA, but won't be listening again.

Another great book in the series! I enjoyed the beginning where you get a decent amount of crossover from the previous book, The Ryke, seeing things from Rig's POV. I had read reviews of this book (written version) saying the internal struggles/fears Rig has are repetitive/boring, but I didnt feel that way. Rig is scared, that's his character, and he pushes through some awful things but his character doesn't suddenly change. it's one of the things I like most about the monstrous series. you see character development without a complete 180 on their personality.

As always, the universe development is amazing. The sex scenes are different enough to be monster sex yet still hot lol.

Michael lesley is one of my top 3 narrators and he smashed it out of the park again. I've yet to be disappointed by him.

Need the next audio soon please!

I don't usually enjoy dual narrators and have struggled in the past with other books. These guys work really well together, matching tones, so there is no jarring change between chapters. I would definitely listen to these 2 together again.
The story was sweet with no angst or miscommunication. The mature scenes were hella hot but felt appropriate for college age guys exploring. Will be keeping in ny library for an easy listen again one day.

I have listened to a lot of N R Walker books and I usually enjoy the low angst romance but this book really fell short. The 2 MC seemed to meet and decided they were made for each other before they'd even been on the first date but I just didn't see how that happened. Maybe the tone of the narrator didn't help sell it. Unlike other N R Walker books, I won't be listening to it again and I won't be listening to the second book in the series (first time I've turned down a sequel, but I really don't care what happens to these 2 MCs, sorry)

I am thoroughly enjoying the Monstrous series. although the premise of each book is the same, ie man and monster fall in love, each character and relationship are very different. Danny and Wyns relationship is just adorable and sweet and getting to see it from Wyns POV was great.

As the blurb says, this is a low-angst novella. it is just about their relationship, no big plot surrounding it, just a perfectly enjoyable love story.

Michael lesley's narration, the voice of Wyn, omg, its fantastic. I will be re-listening to the book ALOT because I just love this voice rumbling out of my headphones!

This is the 3rd book in the undue arrogance series but it is a stand alone story.

Firstly I want to say Joel Leslie is one of my favourite narrators but I did find the first 2 chapters a bit....rushed? aggressive? not sure, but I am SO GLAD I stuck with it because, as usual, Cole Maccade has given us another M/M romance that gives you all the feels! I loved every character and as always I love seeing how the author sees power dynamics, amazing. I am only stopping long enough to write this review and then I will be pressing play and listening again!

I will say here because apparently audio books don't advise of trigger warns the way written books do. There is a "non con" kink and a scene of attempted assault. I knew this going in, and I was a little hesitant, but the book addresses these scenes and the emotions so well I needn't have worried.
