Well voiced story, but absolutely atrocious plot and writing.
Listening to entire trilogy feels like constantly expecting the story to get better every chapter, only for Salvatore to put Drizzt into another tiring monologue of self pity and primitive morals that are repeating themselves since the first book.
Furthermore out of 10 hours of the book - at least 2 are spent in Drizzt summarizing the story so far as if reader can’t remember anything outside of a single book chapter.
Finally, remaining part of book’s contains is no epic sword & sorcery adventure, but rather a D&D themed park of encounters for setting fans, that could resemble a very primitive tabletop campaign.
