Snippets of experience. Nice but missing the twists
Reviewed: 29-08-24
Interesting stories from the power corridors. Selected stories from Indira to Manmohan Era. Some revelations to followers of Indian politics, but many may be fairly well known. Missing the twists and turns of "political thriller".Non controversial mostly but that does take the fun away. Somewhere not very impartial as well.

A humanistic perspective on ancient Persia. Engaging narration
Reviewed: 12-04-24
While I was aware of some anecdotes of ancient Persian history, did have a good storyline in my head. This narration helped in fill that. In an engaging, humanistic, realistic and we'll flowing story line.
Recommended from my side as a good introduction to history of ancient Persian empire.

Story
The 25 years between the onset of the French Revolution in 1789 and the Bourbon Restoration after Napoleon in 1814 is an astonishing period in world history. This era shook the foundations of the old world and marked a permanent shift for politics, religion, and society - not just for France, but for all of Europe. An account of the events alone reads like something out of a thrilling novel.
