The story takes us back in time to when Blade, Hickok and Geronimo were just teenagers. A young 16-year-old Blade and his friends are off on a little adventure. The journals of their founder Kurt Carpenter mention that a recluse millionaire built a castle fifteen miles from the Home. The young boys are on an adventure to explore and find out if the castle still exists. They do indeed find that the castle is still standing and inhabited.

The Home gets a distress call from New Orleans. A group of resistance fighters is asking for help. Naturally the Home will send out Blade and the Warriors to investigate. This time Blade chooses the Beta Triad made up of the hybrids Lynx, Ferret and Gremlin.

In the arid San Diego Dead Zone, murderous fiends called the Vampires were kidnapping young girls to use them as the main course at a sick feast. Nobody knew if the Vampires were the inhuman monsters of legend, or human aberrations twisted by the nuclear holocaust. No matter what they were, Blade wanted them killed—even if he had to drive a stake through every one of their hearts.

Blade is enjoying some time with his family when he gets an unwanted visitor. Star, the leader of the Flathead Indians, has come to ask for help. Small towns in western Montana are being attacked and the inhabitants have vanished without a trace. The only clue is a survivor that claims his family was abducted by bear-men mutants.

Led by Blade, they were seven hand-picked members of the Freedom Federation. Each was a volunteer because no one had the guts to order them to go anywhere; each alone was worth an army - together, they couldn’t be stopped. The Mission: Sanitize the Outlands of Oregon, which were under the rule of a vile race of mutants called the Reptiloids. Their diabolical leader had a taste for pitting humans against each other in Roman arena combat, and all the lizard-men had a taste for human flesh.

A century after the nuclear holocaust of World War III, Blade and the Warriors must invade Soviet-occupied Cincinnati to destroy the Russians' new superweapon and prevent them from wiping out the entire Freedom Federation.

Blade and his warriors had to penetrate the Soviet base in Philadelphia, where the Russians had captured the one group of men capable of destroying them - the fierce Vikings. With their help, Blade could save the Federation; without it, civilization would be lost forever.

After the nuclear holocaust, New York City became a zombie-ridden chaos where no sane man would willingly go. But Blade and his men had to venture into the fallen metropolis. For a renowned scientist claimed the solution to the world’s food shortage lay hidden beneath the city, and he needed them to find it. If the warriors succeeded in their quest, there would be shouts of joy - if they failed, the world would die without a whimper.

Efter tredje världskriget befinner sig världen i fullkomligt kaos. Bland resterna efter civilisationen försöker överlevare att hanka sig fram, men när en ondskefull diktator tar makten faller ytterligare en skugga över den redan trasiga världen. Diktatorn missbrukar all den makt han sitter på för att lägga hela världen under sig, men samtidigt dyker ett motstånd upp här och var, ett motstånd som leds av en man som är den enda som kan rädda världen nu. Vad ligger bakom utbrottet av viruset? Eller är det någon som vill dem ont som spridit den hemska smittan ...?

Hundra år efter tredje världskriget lever mänskligheten kvar i spillrorna efter civilisationen. På jakt efter föda rotar de runt i bråten efter forna storstäder. Det är en fruktansvärd tid att leva på, men det finns sätt att ta sig igenom även de mörkaste epoker. Banditband utnyttjar det laglösa landet, men det finns också soldater kvar som månar om de värnlösa. Triad Alfa är ett gäng elitsoldater som försöker rädda en koloni människor. Mat, vatten och andra förnödenheter tryter.

Världen har gått under och de få överlevande människorna som är kvar rotar runt bland resterna efter civilisationen. De är helt ensamma i den öde världen - det är i alla fall vad de tror. Snart blir det uppenbart att det finns en mörk, hemsk kraft därute i mörkret som vill dem illa. För att överleva måste de ta till all list de kan frammana, men också hjälpas åt. Men viljan hos de överlevande börjar långsamt att brytas ner under den tunga pressen, och sprickor uppstår i deras gemenskap.

Uppdraget var på snudd omöjligt, men om det var någon som skulle kunna uträtta det så var det Blade. Tillsammans med ett gäng specialtränade elitsoldater skulle han tränga in i garnisonen och oskadliggöra ett fyrtiotal mutantsoldater. Men det var bara början. Efter att de utkämpat första striden skulle nästa strid komma, motangreppet som förmodligen skulle krossa dem... I denna spännande thriller är världen utplånad. Människor lever i ruinerna och försöker överleva med alla odds mot sig. Men det sista som dör är hoppet!
