Europas nasjonalsang
Siden 1972 har Europas nasjonalsang vært et utdrag fra preludiet til «Ode til gleden» fra Beethovens 9. symfoni.
Europarådet gjør innspillinger av forskjellige tolkinger av Europas nasjonalsang tilgjengelige både til profesjonelle musikere og til publikum generelt. Disse innspillingene er utdrag fra "Rhapsodie sur l'Hymne Européen" av den franske komponisten Christophe Guyard. De ble bestilt av Europarådet til bruk i dokumentarfilmer, nyheter og andre programmer om Europarådet.
"Rhapsodie sur l'Hymne Européen" er et opphavsbeskyttet verk som er registrert hos Sacem (Frankrike). Komponisten er Christopher Guyard.
