AFRC will be conducting a large-scale XAB Certification Event, to prepare for deployment in AFFORGEN Cycle 25.2 (Apr 2025). Exercise NEXUS FORGE (NF) is the culmination event and will conduct multi-theater/multi-domain and Joint (Army, Marine)/Combined (Canada) operations in NORTHCOM/INDOPACOM AORs with elements from all three AFRC Numbered Air Forces on 1-14 Feb 2025. In addition, specific NEXUS FORGE assets and event timing will nest with USAF Weapon Center’s Exercise BAMBOO EAGLE (10-14 Feb 25) and SENTRY ALOHA (~29 Jan – 12 Feb 25). Aircraft will conduct flight operations out of Barbers Point and Wheeler Airfields, while ground elements will operate from Schoefield Barracks, Barbers Point, Wheeler, Dillingham, Bellows and Anderson, Guam. Current planning efforts will have 850 players, 80 certifiers and 9-10 MAF aircraft (C-17, KC-135, KC-46, C-130) on island. Additionally, airlift/tanker support sorties from upwards of 10 of my CONUS Wings will transit theater during 1-14 Feb 25. AFRC looks forward to building partnerships with PACAF and Joint Partners in the INDOPACOM AOR as we aspire to have NEXUS FORGE become the premier annual AFRC Capstone XAB/DCW Certification Event. show less
