Regolamento per l’utilizzo del logo istituzionale dell’EFSA

L'utilizzo del logo da parte di soggetti esterni è consentito solo a determinati termini e condizioni.

I soggetti esterni possono scaricare, copiare e memorizzare il logo dell'EFSA in tutti i suoi formati e versioni dal sito web dell'EFSA, purché accettino i termini e le condizioni e agiscano in conformità ad essi. I soggetti esterni possono richiedere il logo EFSA via e-mail.

I termini e le condizioni d'uso stabiliscono che il logo istituzionale dell'EFSA possa essere utilizzato solo se il richiedente soddisfa criteri relativi alla natura intrinseca dell'EFSA, ovvero quella di ente pubblico indipendente che agisce senza fini di lucro e nell'interesse pubblico.

L'utilizzo del logo EFSA non può essere associato a scopi, compiti o usi commerciali contrari ai seguenti principi:

• non detenere alcun interesse commerciale
• afferire al campo scientifico
• afferire all’Unione europea
• afferire all’ambito delle relazioni locali

For further clarification or to request an exception to the above terms and conditions, please send a request to the Ask EFSA service. Decisions on such requests are taken on a case-by-case basis.

By downloading this logo I declare I have read and accepted the above terms and conditions under which EFSA grants the possibility of using its logo (the logo) without a prior authorisation and that in particular:

• EFSA hereby grants you the limited right to use its logo;
• The use of the logo is not granted exclusively to me, and EFSA is free to grant such use to any other party, as it determines fit to do so;
• I will not use the logo in any other way or sub-license the right to use or reproduce the logo to any other person, firm or corporation;
• EFSA may, at its own discretion, require me to cease immediately any use of the logo;
• I will not reproduce the logo alone on the cover of publications in any forms, whether in print or electronic versions, websites and other products or services.
• Where deemed necessary EFSA may request you to include the following clause: "The EFSA logo is used with the permission of EFSA. However, use of the EFSA logo in no way constitutes an endorsement, express or implied, by neither EFSA nor of the European Union of this [name of the entity].”;
• The logo shall not be used for commercial purposes nor be displayed on items designated for sale without prior and written agreement by EFSA;
• I will not display the logo on business cards, letterheads, personal websites, or as part of my domain name, product or service name, logo, trade dress, design, slogan, or other trademark;
• I will not use the logo as a design feature on any of my or my company’s materials I will not combine the logo with any other object, including, but not limited to, other logos, icons, words, graphics, photos, slogans, numbers, design features, symbols, or Web site audio files;
• I will not display the logo in any manner that suggests I am an EFSA employee, in a manner that suggests that EFSA is a part of my company or company name, that EFSA holds your company or that your company holds EFSA or that is anyway connected to EFSA. My use of the Logo must clearly indicate that I am independent from EFSA;
• The logo must not be used in any manner that expresses or might imply EFSA’s affiliation, sponsorship, endorsement, certification, or approval, other than as set forth in these terms;
• I will not imitate the logo in any manner in my or my company’s materials and I will not use any other logo, trade mark or word(s) confusingly similar to the EFSA logo;
• Except for size, I will not alter the logo in any manner, including proportions, colours, elements, etc., or animated, morphed, or otherwise distorted in perspective or dimensional appearance;
• The EFSA logo must not be translated or otherwise localised into any other language without EFSA’s prior approval;
• I take note and accept that EFSA reserves the right to change or modify the logo and to amend this Agreement at any time at its discretion and without notice. I will only use the most current versions of the logo as notified to me by EFSA;
• I take note and accept that in case of any violation of these terms, EFSA reserves the right to take immediate legal action. The construction, validity and performance of these terms and conditions shall be governed by European Union Law integrated by Italian Law, and EFSA and I agree to submit any dispute arising therefrom to the exclusive jurisdiction of the General Court of the European Union. A failure of EFSA to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision and shall in no way affect its right to later enforce or exercise it.
• If any provision of these terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, EFSA and I agree that it shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other terms or rights which shall continue in full force and effect except for any such invalid or unenforceable provision or part thereof.
