About

On 26 September 2024, Member States of the European Free Trade Association – Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland – and the Republic of Kosovo concluded a Free Trade Agreement. Further details can be found in a Chapter-by-Chapter Fact Sheet. The EFTA-Kosovo FTA was signed on 22 January 2025 in Davos, Switzerland. Its entry into force is currently pending.

EFTA and Kosovo launched their negotiations towards a free trade agreement in June 2022. Between August 2022 and September 2024, four negotiation rounds and several intersessional meetings were held.
