Improving Nuclear Safety Arrangements strives to foster continuous improvement in the national arrangements for nuclear safety regulation in all EU Member States. WGNS organizes workshops to exchange lessons learned and experience, conducts technical discussions, elaborates and reviews guidelines, provides guidance to facilitate the implementation of EU legislation in the field of nuclear safety and, through all of these, enhances the transparency and mutual understanding in the nuclear safety field at the European scope. WGNS also explores possibilities to maximise the nuclear safety improvement benefits of the Convention on Nuclear Safety. It assists ENSREG in any technical issue in this field.
