On 4 December, ENVI Members adopted several draft opinions under the discharge procedure.

On 4 December, in a joint ENVI-AGRI committee meeting, Members listened to the Commission's presentation and held an exchange of views on two forest related Commission proposals: measures: a proposal on a monitoring framework for resilient European forests, and on the updating of the Standing Forestry Committee.

On 4 December, the Commission held an exchange of views with ENVI Members on the findings of the EU Climate Action Progress Report 2024 and the results of the evaluation of the Governance Regulation

On 4 December, the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) presented both its 2024 Emission Gap Report and 2024 Adaptation Gap Report to ENVI Members.

On 4 December, the European Court of Auditors presented its special report “Food labelling in the EU - Consumers can get lost in the maze of labels”

On 4 December, the ENVI Members held an exchange of views with Dr. Yukiko Nakatani, WHO assistant Director-General, on Antimicrobial Resistance.

On 4 December, the Heads of the 5 EU Agencies under ENVI competence (EEA, ECHA, EFSA, ECDC and EMA) presented the agencies' responsibilities and activities to ENVI Members.

On 25th November, ENVI members considered the draft reports on the ‘one substance - one assessment’ legislative package.

On 12 November, the confirmation hearing of Executive Vice-President-designate for a Clean, Just and Competitive Transition, Teresa Ribera took place.
