The European Parliament,

A. whereas the recent United States presidential election demonstrated the strength of democratic institutions and delivered a clear and decisive result, reflecting the will of the American people;

B. whereas the president-elect’s electoral platform, which included a robust approach to illegal migration and a rejection of climate hysteria, sets a precedent for pragmatic governance;

C. whereas the emphasis on countering woke ideology and restoring free speech resonates with growing concerns in Europe about left-wing ideological extremism in education and public life;

1. Welcomes the election result as a landmark victory for democracy and freedom, congratulating Donald Trump on his magnificent achievement;

2. Calls for the abolition of current climate policies; advocates for a shift towards climate realism in partnership with the new US administration to balance environmental sustainability with economic growth;

3. Calls for the abolition of failed EU migration policies, and prioritising border control and the fight against illegal migration, inspired by the proposed US mass deportation strategy;

4. Calls for the abolition of censorship mechanisms in EU policy and stresses the need for transatlantic cooperation to protect free speech on social media as a cornerstone of democracy.
