President. – I have two short announcements.

First of all, Tuesday next week will mark 1 000 days of Ukraine's heroic fight for freedom and democracy against a brutal Russian invasion.

The determination and courage of ordinary Ukrainians, who have sacrificed everything for their country, has inspired the world, and I am proud that this Parliament has supported them in their struggle from day one. I speak for all of Europe when I say our unwavering support will continue for as long as it takes, because true peace cannot exist without freedom.

Outside this Hemicycle, you will find a stand set up to take photos, where you can help raise awareness. I encourage you all to participate.

On Tuesday, 19 November at 11:00, we will host here an extraordinary plenary to discuss our support and the situation in Ukraine. We will be joined from Ukraine by President Zelenskyy. I encourage you all to be here.
