Reports by the Food and Veterinary Office, the European Food Safety Office and Compassion in World Farming reveal widespread non-compliance with the provisions in Council Directive 91/630/EEC[1] that require pigs to be provided with enrichment materials and prohibit routine tail docking.
What steps does the Commission plan to take to press the Member States to enforce Directive 91/630/EEC properly?
