Reports - as rapporteur

A rapporteur is appointed in the responsible parliamentary committee to draft a report on proposals of a legislative or budgetary nature, or other issues. In drafting their report, rapporteurs may consult with relevant experts and stakeholders. They are also responsible for the drafting of compromise amendments and negotiations with shadow rapporteurs. Reports adopted at committee level are then examined and voted on in plenary. Rule 55

Opinions - as rapporteur

Committees may draft an opinion to a report of the responsible committee covering the elements linked to their committee remit. Rapporteurs of such opinions are also responsible for the drafting of compromise amendments and negotiations with shadow rapporteurs of the opinion. Rule 56, Rule 57, Annex VI

Ich habe für die neuen EU-Regeln zur Nachhaltigkeit von Verpackungen und zur Reduzierung von Verpackungsmüll gestimmt. Diese Maßnahmen umfassen den gesamten Lebenszyklus von Verpackungen und zielen darauf ab, Abfall zu minimieren und die Kreislaufwirtschaft zu fördern. Durch die Festlegung von Zielen zur Verpackungsreduzierung und die Beschränkung bestimmter Arten, wie Einwegplastik, gehen wir bedeutende Schritte in Richtung einer nachhaltigeren Zukunft. Das Verbot bestimmter Arten von Einwegplastikverpackungen bis 2030 und die Förderung von Wiederverwendungs- und Nachfülloptionen zeigen unser Engagement für die Reduzierung der Umweltbelastung. Zusätzlich sorgen Maßnahmen zum Gesundheitsschutz, wie das Verbot schädlicher Chemikalien in Lebensmittelkontaktverpackungen, für das Wohlergehen der Verbraucher. Diese Regelungen fördern recycelbare Verpackungen, verbesserte Abfallsammlung und höhere Recyclingraten und tragen so zu einem umweltfreundlicheren Europa bei.

Die Schaffung eines Europäischen Gesundheitsdatenraums habe ich unterstützt. Dieser ermöglicht Bürgern den Zugang zu ihren persönlichen Gesundheitsdaten in einem elektronischen Format, auch über die Grenzen ihres Wohnsitzlandes hinweg. Zudem erlaubt er es Gesundheitsfachkräften, mit Einwilligung ihrer Patienten auf deren Akten zuzugreifen. Das ist insbesondere für Grenzregionen wie Ostbelgien wichtig. Insgesamt werden strenge Datenschutzvorkehrungen getroffen, um die Privatsphäre der Bürger zu schützen und sicherzustellen, dass ihre Daten nicht für kommerzielle Zwecke verwendet werden.

European Disability Card and European Parking Card for persons with disabilities (A9-0003/2024 - Lucia Ďuriš Nicholsonová) DE

Den vorliegenden Text in Bezug auf die Einführung eines EU-weit gültigen Behinderten- und Parkausweises habe ich unterstützt. Sie gewähren Personen mit Behinderungen gleichen Zugang zu bevorzugten Bedingungen wie reduzierten oder kostenlosen Eintrittsgebühren, prioritärem Zugang und reservierten Parkplätzen. Die europäische Behindertenkarte wird kostenfrei ausgestellt und ermöglicht den Zugang zu den gleichen Bedingungen wie nationale Karteninhaber. Die Sensibilisierung der Bürger zu den Karten wird durch zentrale europäische und nationale Stellen sichergestellt, die Informationen zur Beantragung, Nutzung und Erneuerung der Karten sowie zu den Bedingungen bereitstellen.

Individual motions for resolutions

In accordance with Rule 143 of Parliament's Rules of Procedure, any individual Member may table a motion for resolution on a matter falling within the spheres of activity of the EU. These motions for resolution express the position of the individual Members who tabled them. Admissible motions are referred to the committee responsible, which shall decide whether to follow up the motion for resolution and, if so, which procedure is to be followed.
