Constitutive Meeting
During the first plenary sitting in Strasbourg of the newly-elected Parliament, MEPs approved the proposal on the number and numerical strength of the interparliamentary delegations.
Each of the 48 European Parliament's standing delegations will hold its constitutive meeting towards the end of September/beginning of October and will elect its respective bureau, comprising of a Chair and Vice-Chairs.
The constitutive meeting of the European Parliament's Delegation to the EU-North Macedonia Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) is scheduled for

In order to facilitate a swift start into the new legislative term, the Parliament has prepared for the new Members a series of brochures providing a detailed information on the EP's role in the external policies of the EU as well as the work of standing inter-parliamentary standing delegations.
