Event Topic: Catching financial fraud before it happens: A groundbreaking early warning system
Professor Jo Horton, Pro-Dean - External Relations at WBS, will introduce a revolutionary new system developed by WBS that can spot the warning signs of financial fraud years before it happens. Described by Jo as a ‘financial health monitor,’ the system can predict, with remarkable accuracy, which companies might be at risk of manipulating their financial accounts.
