Czech beer is an important part of the country's cultural heritage, with a brewing tradition that has lasted for centuries. In Prague, the beer scene is changing, with an increase in microbreweries and craft beers that are bringing more diversity to the market. While traditional Pilsner-style lagers remain popular, there are also many innovative microbreweries that offer unique and exciting brews.

In contrast, although Czech beer has traditionally been more popular, Czech wine is gaining popularity worldwide. The Moravia region is known for producing mainly white wines like Veltlínské zelené and reds like Svatovavřinecké. Despite the focus on local production, wine bars in Prague offer a wide range of Czech and international wines. The Czech Republic hosts beer and wine festivals, celebrating both traditions and providing a platform for showcasing a diverse range of beverages.
