Welcome to the 2024 Fortinet Academic Partner Awards!
We are excited to announce our second annual Academic Partner awards. As the threat landscape continues to grow, working together with our academic partners is key to helping close the skills gap and help build the cybersecurity workforce of the future.
We want to recognize and celebrate all the hard work and effort that goes into getting students interested in cybersecurity and integrating our training and certification into their curriculum.
Why Enter?
This is a great opportunity to showcase your commitment to and investment in the cybersecurity training industry and to demonstrate you are an award-winning Fortinet partner.
Winners will be announced in June and will be posted on this page. Awards and prizes will be mailed to the winners and digital badges will be provided to include in their marketing efforts, including their website, emails, and promotional materials. Fortinet will create a blog announcing the winners and share this through various social media channels.
Awards
Marketing Innovation Award
This award recognizes Fortinet Academic Partners who have developed the best marketing initiatives to help promote their cybersecurity program. The Fortinet team will determine the winners based on submissions from partners.
Academic Educator of the Year
These awards will be based on the number of certifications an educator holds, how may lab requests were submitted for 2023/2024 school year, and any initiatives with their students (summer programs, additional Fortinet sessions, etc.).
Academic Student of the Year
Teachers will nominate students for this award. These nominations will be evaluated alongside the students’ certifications and grades to determine a winner.
Selection Criteria
All awards are determined by the Fortinet Academic Partner Program team and will be evaluated based on the category of the award:
- The Student Award will be determined based on submissions from teachers.
- All other awards will be determined by the Fortinet Academic Partner Program team.
