How do I update the Points of Contact (POCs) on my SAM.gov entity registration?


The Points of Contact (POCs) are located towards the end of your SAM.gov entity registration. You can update the POCs during an update to your entire entity registration. If you are only needing to update the POC information without updating the rest of the registration, you can now complete that section at the beginning of the entity update.

 

To update Points of Contact only:

  1. Sign in to SAM.gov and begin the process to update your entity (KB0016307).
  2. You will be asked What would you like to update? Select that you want to update your POCs and select Next.
  3. Make any necessary changes to the POCs and select Save and Continue.
    If your entity is categorized as a Small Business you may see the SBA Supplemental page next. If no changes are needed to your SBA Profile, select Save and Continue.
  4. Review your POC changes on the Entity Review page and select Save and Exit.

Once updated in SAM.gov, it can take an additional 24-48 hours for the registration information to be available in other government systems. Updating your POCs does not update your entity registration status. You still need to update the entity registration prior to its expiration date.
