What is the end date for an office in the federal hierarchy?


Only a federal user with the federal hierarchy administrator role can create or edit the federal hierarchy. When you create or edit an office in the federal hierarchy, you can include an end date for the office. This will make the office “inactive” when the date is reached. Entering an end date is optional. Be cautious when including or changing the end date of an office. It is your responsibility to ensure that there are no open or pending actions related to that office that would be negatively impacted by end-dating the office.
