- TriviaOriginally titled "The Krofft Superstar Hour with the Bay City Rollers," the hour-long show featured skits and songs with the band as well as the segments "Horror Hotel" (with Pufnstuf's Witchipoo running a hotel), "Lost Island" (with characters from all the previous Krofft shows together on "The Land of the Lost"), as well as installments of "Magic Mongo." The competition was fierce, ratings were low, so after two months on the air the show was retitled "The Bay City Rollers Show," chopped down to 30 minutes, and the "Lost Island" and "Magic Mongo" segments were dropped.

Perhaps only the great fans of the Bay City Rollers would love this show and understand the show. I don't think it really mattered much to the fans if they acted great or not. The fact is...the show was great simply because they were IN it!!!Seeing them on TV was the next best thing for me at that time. Of course seeing the show live at the studio would have been the best thing. I've always wondered how I was going to get a hold of these TVshows with them in it. Thanks to IMDb it's now possible. So,for me, I LOVED IT and would definitely TREASURE it!!! It's the BAY CITY ROLLERS, the most gorgeous, talented and most adored Band in the 70's even now. It's Rollermania....no other explanations needed!!!
