Scott Patterson has been a vocal proponent for more Gilmore Girls content. The actor, who spent seven seasons portraying Luke Danes on the iconic dramedy, recently implored fans to “manifest” another revival. Patterson, apparently, was so attached to his character that he even advocated for his own spinoff series. There is a good reason it didn’t happen, though.
Scott Patterson wanted to do a ‘Gilmore Girls’ spinoff about Luke’s Diner
Gilmore Girls ended in 2007, much to the chagrin of fans and the cast. For years, fans have always wondered why a true spinoff attempt was never made. It wasn’t for lack of trying. During a recent chat with E! News, Scott Patterson revealed he lobbied for a Gilmore Girls spinoff focused on Luke’s Diner as the series was coming to an end. The network didn’t bite, but for a good reason.

After Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi’s 2014 movie What We Do in the Shadows received positive response from the audience and critics, they created a TV series of the same name.
The sci-fi mockumentary drama that revolves around a vampire universe debuted on the FX network in 2019. The series, which was executive-produced by Paul Simms finally concluded with season six on December 16, 2024.
Over the years, the show became massively popular among the fans, so much so, that the creators threw in an extra episode in the last season instead of their regular 10-episode-a-season rule for their loyal fandom.

The storyline of the plot follows a group of bloodsucking roommates living in Staten Island who are exploring their semi-normal lives. The series had a good run for six seasons with 61 hilarious episodes.

Scott Patterson, the actor who took on the role of Luke Danes, recently suggested fans could help by thinking positive thoughts. He’s hoping to “manifest” another revival.
Scott Patterson encourages ‘Gilmore Girls’ fans to ‘manifest’ a second revival
Scott Patterson spent some time during a recent event chatting with Time Out. While it isn’t uncommon for stars of the show to be asked about a potential second revival, Patterson changed things up a bit this time around. While he made it clear he’d be happy to appear, he has asked fans to help make it a reality.

Although the forecast didn’t call for much snow, leave it to Lorelai Gilmore’s favorite season to facilitate a Gilmore Girls reunion.
Lauren Graham and former co-star Yanic Truesdale posed for a holiday selfie this week, nearly 25 years after they began their seven-season run on the Amy Sherman-Palladino WB/CW series.
“We don’t get to see each other often enough @laurengraham but when we do it’s always a treat. Hoping you get to see your loved ones this week. Happy holidays,” Truesdale captioned an Instagram photo of the two of them smiling in front of a Christmas tree.
In Gilmore Girls, which ran from 2000 to 2007 and is now streaming on Hulu, Graham and Alexis Bledel star as Lorelai Gilmore and daughter Rory, who live a picturesque life in Stars Hollow, Connecticut while mom operates the Dragonfly Inn and daughter gets into private school with dreams of attending Yale.

The brand new sixth season of Virgin River is now streaming on Netflix, and chances are you've already watched all 10 episodes by now. Is that all? Nope! You have nothing to worry about because Virgin River season 7 has already been confirmed. Netflix announced the show's renewal back in October 2024.
An official release date hasn't been announced for the seventh season, but it will likely be released sometime in 2025. A new season of the romantic drama series has come out every year since it first premiered. One of the show's stars, Tim Matheson, revealed in a recent interview that production on Virgin River season 7 will begin in March 2025.
Unless there are serious delays in the filmmaking process, we can expect a late 2025 or early 2026 release. However, if Netflix wants to keep up with its pattern of releasing a new season every year, then the streamer will most likely drop season 7 by the end of next year.

When it comes to sitcoms, viewers often remember the characters that shine brighter, thanks to their eccentricities, physical comedy, quips, or maybe even their negative traits that make them one of the most hated among all. One such character from The Office is Jan Levinson, played by Melora Hardin.
From her on-again-off-again relationship with Michael Scott to her unceremoniously scented candles, Jan quickly went from a sensible woman to a detached character who everyone despised. The scene where she told Michael not to date Holly did not help either.

TV, it is notable that “Gilmore Girls” is now streaming in its entirety on Netflix (the home of revival “A Year in the Life”) and the Disney-owned Hulu, but still not available on Max, which is the streamer owned by Warner Bros. Discovery. The Hulu deal is non-exclusive, and Seasons 1-7 of “Gilmore Girls” will continue to stream on Netflix, along with “A Year in the Life,” Variety has learned

Hulu on Sunday night dropped all seven seasons of Gilmore Girls, Amy Sherman-Palladino’s perennial favorite series that ran for seven seasons on The WB and the CW from 2000-2007 but has steadfastly remained in the ether thanks to streaming.
Hulu is making all 153 episodes available, with nine of the series’ holiday-themed ones showcased in a curated ‘Holiday Episodes” tray on the show page.
The deal is not exclusive — Gilmore Girls‘ longtime SVOD home, Netflix, will continue to stream the Warner Bros TV-produced series. In 2016, Netflix released a follow-up four-part miniseries, Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life.
In October, more than 17 years after the series finale, Gilmore Girls was No. 8 in the Nielsen streaming charts for Netflix with 640 million minutes viewed. The measurement service noted the series traditionally begins to pick up viewers each year after Labor Day, with about 56% of its audience in the age 18-34 demo.

Walmart tapped into pop culture earlier this month when it released a holiday commercial featuring Stars Hollow and a few beloved Gilmore Girls characters. The commercial has renewed interest in a second Netflix revival of the show. While a second revival has not been announced, Lauren Graham, the actor who portrayed Lorelai Gilmore, thinks there are more stories to be told from the show’s universe. Graham recently shared her idea for a Gilmore Girls spinoff, and we like it.

Earlier this month, Walmart thrilled Gilmore Girls fans when it released a holiday commercial featuring three of the show’s most beloved characters. The ad spot is a short one. Still, if you look carefully enough, the creative team packed in plenty of little Easter eggs. Scott Patterson, Sean Gunn, and Lauren Graham are the most prominently featured actors from the original series. They aren’t the only ones who appeared, though. If you look closely, one of Gilmore Girls’ town troubadours also appears.
The second troubadour makes a cameo in Walmart’s ‘Gilmore Girls’ commercial
Scott Patterson has been opening up about filming the Gilmore Girls-themed commercial for Walmart on his podcast, I Am All In, and he’s giving fans plenty of fun tidbits to look out for. In a recent episode, Patterson revealed that the other town troubadour, the one who ran a Kinko’s in Groton,...

Gilmore Girls fans were delighted to see Scott Patterson and Lauren Graham, as Luke Danes and Lorelai Gilmore, back together on the small screen again. Creature Commandos rockets through another great episode, accompanied by a scintillating soundtrack and focused on the origin story of G.I. Robot. The episode blends an odd mix of bloodshed and poignant reminiscence, making for an excellent showcase of Sean Gunn’s talent, the brother of James Gunn.
Gunn provides the voice for the robotic member of Easy Company and also delivers the inaudible mumbling of the Weasel. The third chapter, titled “Cheers to the Tin Man,” is thought-provoking, beautifully crafted, and continues to be a surprisingly melancholic tale. It is safe to say that this devilishly creative series is off to a rip-roaring start!
We cannot wait to see what Gunn and company come up with next!

Nobody Wants This is a rom-com without a magical meet cute. It’s about what happens when two grown-ups meet and are challenged by each other and attracted to each other and know what they want. As Bob Dylan fans await Timothée Chalamet‘s portrayal of the folk music legend, Chloe Fineman has reprised her portrayal of Chalamet.
On this weekend’s Saturday Night Live, she played the Oscar nominee in Buzzfeed’s red carpet coverage of the A Complete Unknown premiere, which also featured appearances from Dylan (James Austin Johnson), Bruce Springsteen (Andrew Dismukes) and Bono (host Paul Mescal).
“My forever babygirl, Timmy, is it safe to say you had a brat summer?” asks Heidi Gardner as Buzzfeed reporter Lacey Shay.
Fineman gave her signature Chalamet as she responded, “Oh man, ahhh! This is crazy! It’s nuts, man, it’s nuts. Wow!”
As Dylan, Johnson responded to the same question with a confused “what?” before answering nearly incoherently. “That about sums up my sausage consumption,” he concludes.
“Bob, it’s not about bratwurst, man! Ahhh, I love this guy,” exclaimed Fineman.

Gilmore Girls fans were thrilled when Scott Patterson, Lauren Graham, and Sean Gunn posted about Stars Hollow on Instagram. While there was initially chatter about a potential second revival announcement, it was not meant to be. Instead, the uploads were to promote the three stars appearing in a Walmart ad together. That ad brings Stars Hollow back to life eight years after fans reconnected with the town and its beloved inhabitants in Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life. Now, fans are theorizing about Rory Gilmore’s life thanks to the short commercial.
We can assume a lot about Rory Gilmore’s life based on the Walmart ad the character did not appear in
The Walmart ad featuring Loelai Gilmore, Luke Danes, and Kirk Gleason isn’t anything groundbreaking. The commercial advertises a Keurig available at the retailer this holiday season. The ad utilizes the iconic Luke’s Diner to get its message across.

Gilmore Girls fans are in for a treat this holiday season. Lauren Graham, Scott Patterson, and Sean Gunn return in a Walmart commercial that revisits the charm of Stars Hollow. The emotional ad is a sentimental return to the cherished tiny town nearly 25 years after the show’s debut.
The commercial recreates the homey, snow-covered town plaza that served as the show’s setting throughout seven seasons. Graham reprises her role as Lorelai Gilmore, with Patterson as Luke Danes. Their distinctive chemistry is highlighted by Lorelai’s famous coffee fixation and Luke’s biting humor.
“Coffee, coffee, coffee, please,” Lorelai says in the advertisement. Luke reacts with his customary humor, presenting her with a Keurig coffee maker from Walmart. “I had to,” he says jokingly. “You’re drinking me out of business.” The humorous interaction reflects the chemistry that has made them one of television’s most popular on-screen couples.

Are you going home for the holidays? Well, Lauren Graham, Scott Patterson and Sean Gunn went back to Stars Hollow for the festive season.
The stars of Gilmore Girls who played Lorelai Gilmore, Luke Danes and Kirk Gleason, respectively, reunited for a new Walmart holiday ad. This is the first time fans of the beloved show saw them on the screen together since the 2016 special miniseries Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life.
In the ad spot (below), Gunn is seen carrying a Walmart package across the iconic Stars Hollow town square and dropping the package off to Patterson at Luke’s Diner. Graham then greets Gunn as she enters the beloved eatery and tells Patterson in total Lorelai fashion, “Coffee, coffee, coffee please.”

It’s funny how sometimes the most unexpected connections pop up, breaking the rules we thought we had about entertainment. We always believed you could only pick one side: the quirky, fast-talking Lorelai Gilmore (from Gilmore Girls) and her charming Stars Hollow or the brooding, morally gray Tony Soprano (The Sopranos) and his dark world of mobsters.
One was all about warm, heartfelt coffee shop moments, while the other was steeped in criminal drama and family power struggles. The two shows seemed like worlds apart—how could they possibly overlap?

Well, leave it to the internet to throw that logic out the window. It turns out that, while Lorelai and Tony may never have shared a coffee or swapped mafia tips, an eagle-eyed Redditor stumbled upon a shocking little Easter egg that ties the two shows together in a way that’ll make you do a double-take.

“It’s always a little surreal [returning to Stars Hollow], because we were back where we’ve been so many times,” Lauren told People. “It was a particularly odd day for me because there’s just so much familiarity with that character and seeing Scott and being in that place. Grief makes people do strange things, but we can’t fault William — in this Friday’s Outlander (Starz, 8/7c) — for thinking that his grieving father might’ve lost his mind a little.

Think about the holiday season, and chances are you’re picturing scenes ripped straight from a TV show.
Snow falls gently outside as everyone gathers around a perfectly decorated tree.
There’s a table groaning under the weight of a flawless feast, family drama magically resolved before the pie comes out, and those charming holiday mishaps that somehow end in a heartfelt toast.
(Ricardo Hubbs/Crown Media)
It’s pure magic — or so television would have us believe.
In real life, the gravy is cold, the turkey’s dry, and someone’s crying in the bathroom because Uncle Jim brought up politics.
Yet, thanks to TV, we all secretly hope for that picture-perfect holiday.
Where did this all start, and why are we so hooked on these unrealistic holiday ideals? Let’s unwrap the gift that keeps on giving — TV’s influence on our holiday expectations.
Cue the Snow Machine:...
