- The South African version features Jeremy Mansfield (a well-known radio personality) as the voice of Chatter Phone.
- In the theatrical version, Spanish Buzz says "abierto" untranslated after opening the garbage chute. On the home video release, this gains a subtitle: "It is open." All others are presented the same. See also The Incredibles' extra subtitle in the 2011 release. (The Blu-ray's subtitles match the film in style and formatting; the DVD's are also player-generated but not as fancy.)
- In foreign versions, Buzz Lightyear's manual is written in the language of the country's release
- In the Spanish dubs, the subtitles for Buzz's Spanish mode are absent and the accent changes into a foreign accent from the other characters'. In the Latin Spanish dub, Spanish Buzz uses a heavier European Spanish dialect than in the original version and in the Castillian dub, he uses an Andalusian accent.
- The UK version of the film features completely different voices for one of the Green Army Men and all three of the Peas-in-a-Pod.
- When the movie was aired on UK TV during the early-2010s, many changes were made
- The shot where Buzz, Jessie, and Woody were trapped by a stampede of monkeys was given a motion blur effect. Possibly to prevent epileptic seizures.
- All of one of the Green Army Men and all three of the Peas-in-a-Pod's voices from the American version were left intact.
- There are no subtitles when Buzz speaks Spanish.
