Alternate versions

The South African version features Jeremy Mansfield (a well-known radio personality) as the voice of Chatter Phone.

In the theatrical version, Spanish Buzz says "abierto" untranslated after opening the garbage chute. On the home video release, this gains a subtitle: "It is open." All others are presented the same. See also The Incredibles' extra subtitle in the 2011 release. (The Blu-ray's subtitles match the film in style and formatting; the DVD's are also player-generated but not as fancy.)

In foreign versions, Buzz Lightyear's manual is written in the language of the country's release

In the Spanish dubs, the subtitles for Buzz's Spanish mode are absent and the accent changes into a foreign accent from the other characters'. In the Latin Spanish dub, Spanish Buzz uses a heavier European Spanish dialect than in the original version and in the Castillian dub, he uses an Andalusian accent.

The UK version of the film features completely different voices for one of the Green Army Men and all three of the Peas-in-a-Pod.

When the movie was aired on UK TV during the early-2010s, many changes were made

• The shot where Buzz, Jessie, and Woody were trapped by a stampede of monkeys was given a motion blur effect. Possibly to prevent epileptic seizures.
• All of one of the Green Army Men and all three of the Peas-in-a-Pod's voices from the American version were left intact.
• There are no subtitles when Buzz speaks Spanish.
