This was the first time I have seen anything from Aunty Donna. Not gonna lie, on the first watch I was high and it was too much sometimes but also realy funny.
But on the second watchthrough I understood the concepts better and guess what, I think I'm a fan now.
I am harsh on sketch comedy. I went in expecting to hate this like so many. But i kept watching. And it gets more absurd and then funny and then absurd then funny. I'm hooked. I love the group.

Without a doubt this is the best Netflix has released in the year 2020. For those unaware, Aunty Donna are an insane bunch of sketch comedians that will undoubtebly confuse you, but you will definitley laugh. Mark, Zach and Broden deliver excellence in this very loosely narrative based show, featuring new and adapted sketches from the groups past. A few highlights include the Coffee Song, Blair Bouyant and the beloved Sports Nurse sketch (featuring the amazing Michelle Brasier).
Take this show with a massive pinch of salt, and don't complain when the show gets weird. Enjoy the absurdism and have fun...
Also don't give my organs to Steve I get bad vibes from that man

Like being hit over the head repeatedly with a tennis racket made from the illusion of narrative while a gang of amoral children laugh and spit glitter into my face.
10 stars.
10 stars.

The Ellen sketch, tiny little man and the barbers are some of the funniest comedy sketches I've ever seen. Please, please can we get more of this kind of comedy in the world. Constant laugher for 6 incredible episodes.

You know this show is great when you have people review bombing it and giving it a 1/10. They're just not ready for Aunty Donna, but you are, beloved reader. You are.

When they hit it, they're borderline genius. Like Monty Python 2020 genius. My personal favorite is the Ellen bit, Season 1, Episode 2.
Sadly, there are a lot of misses to endure.
This was fantastic, just a good fun, old school style sketch comedy show. The sort of thing to make you forget all about the dodgey world we live in.

The absolute absurdity brought out in ADBOHOF is the exact change needed in the world of sitcoms. In fact, this doesn't even seem like a sitcom, but more of a sugar addled conceptual parody of all other forms of comedy from the most annoying jokes possible to experimental fart-arsery.
ADBOHOF actually transcends comedy itself. The term "random" can only be the laziest possible way to describe it to your friends.
To fill this compliment sandwich, there's guaranteed to be some jokes in any experimental comedy that will disappoint. Even Rick and Morty managed to stoop that low in some parts, but all just like Rick and Morty this isn't enough to cancel out the brilliance of the show as a whole
Trust me, you may or may not be disappointed. I might add that if you are disappointed, you either have no sense of humour or you're either irreversibly jaded.

This is a very particular kind of humor. If you don't like the jokes and production. It will feel like complete stupidity.
Either you hate it or you love it.
For me, hate it..

Always been a fan of their work, was not disappointed. To those writing one star reviews because you thought the jokes were "stupid" and "immature", may I recommend something more your cup of tea, such as The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas or Shindler's List you miserable sods.
That being said, those new to Aunty Donna's work will realise how absurd and erratic their humour can be, which may be shocking if you didn't know what to expect. But that's what makes it all the more enjoyable.
Classic Aunty Donna. A must watch! The show builds and builds over the six ep journey each one funnier than the last.
I have been following Aunty Donna since half a decade. Agreed their humor is absurd and not for everyone. Either you'll wonder what just happened or you'll laugh your kiln off... I laughed my Kiln off. It was everything that Aunty Donna represents. One of the most under rated Australian sketch comedy group invades Netflix.
I suggest if you're new to AD, go watch their YouTube sketches.

A riot start to finish! I have enjoyed their comedy on multiple platforms over the last few years and it greatly excites me to see them reaching new heights. Hoping for a second season.

Maybe I had my hopes up bit too high for this series but one 20 minute episode feels too long. There is one or two filler skit in every ep.
It is decent but if you compare Glennridge Seconary College or 1999 this isn't as good as those.
One of the most original funny things I have watched in quite awhile.
To be completly honest, a lot of the sketches and jokes did not impress me and are pretty cringy. Others had me in tears though. I am not a laugh-out-loud kinda guy and that show really cracked me up a few times. Good stuff!
10 minutes into the first episode and didn't laugh once, the comedy seems so immature and forced.
This is hands down these the best absurdist sketch comedians our generation has ever seen
Got such a kick out of seeing these three boys do their thing in the Hollywood Hill. I must admit, I was a little nervous to see how their humour would translate to the Netflix format and I'm happy to report they've smashed this one out of the park (watch the clothes bit to understand :P).
Well done boys for remaining true to yourselves, and congratulations to Egg Helms for being a part of such an exciting project.
